Rolla__Boy Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 I very rarely park my car anywhere without people commenting on how much they like it. Quote
Dan Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 I missed out barely on a KE15 Sprinter with minimal rust for $150. Had fresh 3k in it, original K motor on a stand, restored interior... missed it because I didn't get the money together and get back to him quick enough. Pissed off I missed it. Moral of the story: Too much for that car: another one will come along. Quote
Jono Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 yeah thats half of the reason i want a ke10, theyer unique, anyone that has one is verry fond of it, and remembers it, in my old RX4 i used to get old guys coming up to me in the street, telling me about when they had one, and people would follow me to whereever i was going and talk to me about it, it was great. now somone sell me a KE10!... or 20! My first car was a '67 Mini Deluxe with 33000 original miles on the clock. Very slow car but everyone had a story about their mini to tell you. The original owner's son chased me down one day so he could sit in it again and told me how little his mum drove it: just down to the shops once a week and to chatswood for christmas once a year. I wrote that car off and still feel guilty about it. (4 wheel drum brakes and lazy P-platers don't mix) Old cars rule!! don't understand people who buy new pulsars for $20K!!!???? Then take them to shops for wheels and exhaust and call themselves CAR ENTHUSIASTS. hahahaha That yellow ke20 for $500 is such a good deal. Quote
