when i engineered the ke20 it needed a blue slip and a brown slip. got picked up on the lack of rubber pads on the brake pedal, but he didnt' notice the missing hazard switch, missing heater/demister, handbrake light and others.

yeah, up to 1.9 litre turbo is allowed in NSW. Depending on the build, some get sr20det engineered too.

go test drive a hilux with one in it, that will give you some idea, although the gearbox has ratios more suited for carrying a load.

when it was NA i used to rev my motor to 7800rpm, when it was turboed i never really had to rev it past 6000 - 6500rpm. the torque was awesome everywhere, and felt strong in the light car.

i had a HKS 2540 on the 4age and it spooled up so damn quickly.

don't want to say it but if you can't afford to replace an intercooler what will happen if something more serious/costly happens?
