4K Mechanic Melbourne

Hi all.

 

just purchased my first ever corolla. I'm 36 and had plenty of cars from vlt's to vy clubby. Thought it was time for a neat little 4 cylinder. My ke55 is completely granny spec. Still a 4 speed (which will be the first thing I swap out).

 

I was going to do the normal 4age thing when I noticed I still have matching numbers and want to build a tough little 4k.

 

I have read the thread's and have a good idea of what I want. I'm hoping someone in victoria can recomend an engineer/mechanic that knows the 4k to build my engine.

 

Will be doing the brakes and suspension as well. Will take and post photos as it takes shape.

 

I had no idea corollas had such a following. Little ashamed I have only just gotten my first.

Not so much for building you a tough engine, but Peter Robinson Automotive in Oakleigh is good to know when you are looking for spares for your KE55 :)
