I've been looking at all of the writing and trying to work it out

I'm just wondering can I bolt my 4 speed 3k gearbox straight up to a 7k engine

And are the gearbox and engine mounts the same and two more things does a 5k manifold bolt straight up to a 7k engine and lastly can I bolt my 3k sump straight up to a 7k engine

What do I need to do/change for each think

Yes the gearbox will bolt up to the 7k with the appropriate flywheel.... Weather it will appreciate the extra torque for very long is another story.

I have a 7k efi manifold on my 5k so I'll let you ponder that one.

3k sump....definitely not.

What sump and gear box will be good ?

You could buy the k-w50 bell housing and fly wheel I'm considering putting up for sale!
