HI guys, I bought a 1979 corolla last week and I love this little car. Mechanical it needed a new radiator which i replaced last night but other than that its GTG… except that its beat up on the interior and i need all new weatherstrip. So i was wondering if anybody knows where i can find the weatherstrip without the insert for the chrome trim. I have looked on Ebay and everywhere else i can think but they all have the groove. I will post pictures later

Where are you located?

Phoenix Arizona at the moment but in December the car is going to Georgia while i spend a year in Korea.

Rollaclub is predominately Australian based, I'd give www.3TCgarage.com a try or the boys at www.clug4ag.com both are US based and you'll have better luck.

 

Club4AG facebook page is also a good resource. One of the best Toyota forums on Facebook IMO.

JROD - I am in the exact same boat as you in regard to the weatherstipping. I need front and rear window. Did you have any luck finding it? My rear leaks bad when it rains or I wash my car.
