Clapped out Posted May 8, 2015 Report Posted May 8, 2015 looks awesome. will look around. also off topic: no power when I put foot down. it did have old fuel which I flushed and put carby cleaner through with new fuel but still running rough as guts. carby is tuned so I'm thinking a hose has a crack and air is getting in? 3 speed auto by the way Is the gearbox kicking down when you apply acceleration? jaccles Posted May 9, 2015 Author Report Posted May 9, 2015 got it fixed. turns out was a mixture of bad vacuum hoses and coil lead was ducked. Quote
CorollaNut68 Posted May 9, 2015 Report Posted May 9, 2015 (edited) "Mothers" Mag and Aluminum Polish. Works on any metal...use a cloth polisher on a drill to save some elbow. haha even if the chrome is gone it will shine the iron. (it will take overspray off of glass without scratching too) Edited May 9, 2015 by CorollaNut68 Quote
Bueno Posted May 9, 2015 Report Posted May 9, 2015 Ive had good results on rusty chrome bmx frames and bumpers with a lump of folded alfoil and vinegar. The alfoil is very soft so doesnt leave any scratch marks as you rub it and the vinegar helps dissolve the rust. Jes Quote
