Hey rolla clan.

 

So decided to finally put a 5speed in my ke11. I was sold it being told it was out of a 30 no tunnel mod needed. It's clear not. But the problem seem to be different size spline. Did some reading there's a 19 and 21 and bingo here's my dilemma. Can the shaft be swapped between boxes or is it a matter of changing the clutches over ?? Your most excellent know is well appreciated guys 🙏🏻cheers grant

19t is a normal 30/55 ķ40 or k50. 21t is the kit for a k-t. From memory ke10 is even smaller again.

So I bolted up the other clutch and the box slid straight on and it's in the car bolted up now the tailshaft won't mate up looks like 19 spline tail shaft 21 output from the box so do I now get a 21 spline for the front of the tailshaft or swap the tail of the box over ? So much for the straight swap !!! Ive read all about think that's down to being sold a box without all the info maybe ?

output spline from a k50 will be 20 spline.

 

Should be able to find a front tailshaft yoke from a ke30 that will fit Your tailshaft.

 

Was your ke11 auto?
