E70 81' no power after battery short

My dad recently received an '81 Corolla 1.8l wagon, and today he managed to connect the battery backwards somehow. Now the car has no power to starter or accessories. Electrical is not my expertise, where should I start in pin pointing the problem? I've only looked at it for about 45 seconds and noticed nothing obvious. Any help advancing, as well as the wiring diagram, would be appreciated.

This is the best one I've found-

Possibly there was other damage, like a short out somewhere that has destroyed one of the 3 fusible links. You'll need a $10 multimeter from Jaycar  or Supercheap, and you'll have electrics as an expertise by the time you're finished.

Just start at the battery and trace 12V everywhere on the wiring diagram.
