Bluebeast Posted August 16, 2019 Report Posted August 16, 2019 I want to put better calipers on my AE112 but i don't really know where to look. Any help?? Love you all. Quote
parrot Posted August 16, 2019 Report Posted August 16, 2019 Unless you are racing it, don't bother. Overhaul the calipers and master cylinder if you are keen, but if it is stopping in a straight line I wouldn't bother with that either. New metal pads, new discs and a proper bleeding, and it should stop on a 10 cent piece. Quote
Bluebeast Posted August 16, 2019 Author Report Posted August 16, 2019 Thanks mate. It is literally just aesthetic because my calipers are visable through my new wheels lol. Red or yellow calipers? Is on a blue car, red adds horsepower. But yellow will drop panties Quote
parrot Posted August 16, 2019 Report Posted August 16, 2019 I stripped my calipers, cleaned them up on the wire wheel and rebuilt them. Looked amazing..... well for a few weeks till they started to surface rust. Moral of story, if you don’t paint them, clear coat them. To paint them properly, you need them dismantled fully, otherwise they look crap. The decision is yours Quote
