Sidewinder Posted May 31, 2006 Report Share Posted May 31, 2006 Hey all i am very seriously considering purchasing the car in this thread, as its a mate of mine and i want the seats and gearbox etc..etc.. want it for parts http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=7684 i know people have had trouble in the past fitting a ke55 box to a ke70 though...is this true? and can it be fixed? also, will the seats fit my ke70? once ive got what i want out of it, ill most likely strip it and sell the parts on here Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Rolla__Boy Posted May 31, 2006 Report Share Posted May 31, 2006 The KE70 gearbox isn't longer...the shifter just comes out of the gearbox further back. So if you want to put the gearbox out of this KE30 that you are thinking of buying, it will make the shifter come out closer to the dash board, and you would have to cut a new hole in the floor. The cross member that the gearbox bolts to is also different, and wont bolt straight in. So you will need to modify. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
