3k Running Wierd

Hey Guys,

 

With my 3K, I had a ramflo air filter on it and it was running like a dog when cold, (like to much air), so i put the standard one back on and when i depress the throttle a bit in 2nd gear it just coughs and drops revs for a bit then turns good?

 

It's a pretty fresh 3K as well (internally), i was thinking its time for a carby rebuild?

 

Any ideas?

I did about 6months ago, its probably out again,

it could be the carby, with my car the revs were up and down all over the place all the time, so i got a spare carby and a carby kit , pulled it apart and soaked the jets and bowl in thinners then reasembeled it with the new gaskets and stuff and now it runs great

something to add here, my car was playing up, seemed to be a carb problem, turned out to be a crack in the fuel line between the pump and carb, new line, running fine

 

don't get a 55 airborn to often on lowered springs :)
