now. as you probably know there are two main impedance gruops. low resistance and high resistance. for example if your car ran 1.7 ohm injectors, you could fit injectors that run 2.9 ohms,as long as they are the same shape and size. hmmm 3sgte injectors in a 4ke.......oh yeah!

anyway there are 2 different 22re injectors of the same cc/min, but the impedance is different, probably between year models 1984 and 1985. my prob is i can't tell what colour mine are, they are just plain white. and so are my spare 22re injectors. so i can't tell if my impedances match with the 4agze injectors i got off junior. does anyone know how i can overcome this problem? can injector specialists tell or test what impedance they are???

hope this info helps some of you out there

yes thats where i got it from but i don't understand why my injectors don't match any colours on the chart. so i cannot determan whether they are compatible with my ems

so i just put the earth side of the multimeter on one plug and the positve on the other? does it matter what polarity to test this??? if not, sweet. i have a multimeter

its all good. i took the 22re and gze injectors to a injector shop in my suburb and they said they will go with my ecu (as i will keep the stocker until i can afford an aftermarket ecu) and he's flow testing them and cleaning them for f@$k all. sweeeet! :)
