ancullen Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 Check your cylinder bores and make sure the pistons are okay. Make sure that the cams rotate properly and the valves go up and down without too much rubbing. You also might want to check the head is okay at the same time. 8/ Wouldn't have a clue.
wasfishing Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 hahahaha mayeb i shoudl also check if the conrods arent damaged
Sirolla[RL] Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 maybe if you guys had just one car, you might be able to get stuff done quicker instead of waiting around...but that wont be fun huh.. Just you wait Adam, my MKII is gonna kill ya ke55 on track... 8/
Sirolla[RL] Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 hahaha, not soo fast. I don't plan on releasing any details until its starting for real, now is the important time anyway...to SAVE MONEY...which is unheard of around here...
ancullen Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 Is the MkII the AWD Corolla you've been planning for years? The KE55 will have 300hp whilst remaining supercharged. Good luck. 8/ EDIT: Just because I don't save money doesn't mean I'm not good with money. Since getting the $20,000 loan for the GT-Four, we've paid over $4,000 off. That's in about five months. :jamie:

Good luck. 8/ I've highlighted the keyword here :jamie: But I know i probably won't but I'll make sure its on an equal ground. I was going to get a T-Sport, but way to much hassle to import from Europe and all...
ancullen Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 Meh, the KE55 is pretty quick at the moment. With the improved suspension and braking components that will be installed in the next month or two, it will only get quicker. Then the engine improvements will start so I can go S2000 hunting. 8/

ancullen Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 Adam is investigating price of getting head work done for Lola. 8/ Probably WAY out of my price range, but at least this way I can be prepared for when I do get the work done. The cams I want will set me back about $850 for the pair, but they'll be AWESOME! Fairly long duration (288-degree on intake), BIG lift (11.5mm). :jamie:
