Beau-Jangles Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 (edited) I have recently looked at a vehicle for sale which the owner says may need the valve stem seals to be replaced. I was just wondering how expensive/hard this would be to fix?? I have searched the forums and couldn't find anything so sorry if i am reposting an old thread. The car is an early model 83 celica (i know it's not a corolla but it's a toyota). Any help appreciated. Cheers Edited August 17, 2006 by Beau-Jangles Quote
Xany Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 Probably a job for a mechanic to do with the right tools....without the right stuff to do it, it becomes very painful. Quote
Redwarf Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 Pull the head off, give it to a shop. $200 to $300 to reco the head. Bolt back on. Quote
