chrisandliz[RL] Posted August 20, 2006 Report Posted August 20, 2006 (edited) hi boyz, i'm looking for a carby to run on my 3t-c. i have pulled all to junk off engine. (ftw, it was f**ked when i got here) the carby needs to be simple (so i can get me head around it) i was thinking about a Weber 32/36 DGV. but i'm open to ideas that are cheap. if any one has a weber jetted for a 3t, can you throw me a bone thanks chris Edited August 20, 2006 by chrisandliz Quote
irokin Posted August 20, 2006 Report Posted August 20, 2006 Should be able to find a weber off an engine around the same size. Jetting it down or up isnt very difficult. The guys at any good carby shop should be able to give you a bit of advice as to which jet sizes to run. I think Ive got a standard 2T carby somewhere if you get stuck Quote
kryton brown Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 i pulled all the crap off my 3t and used a weber carby from a 2 litre cortina.. very basic carby.. i had to make an adapter plate but thats no big drama.. i let the jetting as standad, was a little rich but went like a cut cat..
