Ae82 & Ae 92 Twin Cam Cv Shaft Interchangeable?

Hi All,

 

Can anyone give me a definitive answer on whether the CV shafts fitted to an AE92 Twin Cam are the same as those fitted to an AE82 Twin Cam? Need new shafts and there are some AE92 ones on Ebay now.

Hmmmm, just done some google-ing and failed.

 

My suggestion is to contact your local Repco/ Burson and compare part numbers.

I have ae92 trueno(4agze) shafts and there a twice as thick as my ae82 shafts(4afc)

gze shafts are a whole other kettle of fish ;))

 

one would assume that ae82/92 4age shafts are interchangable but i wouldnt quote me on that, but yeah a parts stores is ur best friend or even ur local toyota might be able 2 tell u.
