I just posted this topic and it seems to have gone so 'ere it is again

I have a silver Toyota 4A-GE 20Valve 4 throttle Jap import engine installed in my 1990 AE-101 Seca hatch and i'm having great difficulty getting spare parts for it.

the parts i'm chasing are spark plug leads, distributor cap & a timing belt. i've tried dozens of local, interstate & overseas links without any success (so far) & i would be eternally grateful if anyone here on this site can help... Cheers

Surely getting silvertop 20V 4AGE parts can't be that hard... What's the difference between the Aus spec and Jap spec ones?

 

Spark plug leads you should be able to get made. The rest I have no idea, try an importers maybe.

i work in the parts dept of a toyota agent in nz.

 

iv sent several parts to oz customers...

send me an email with your engine detials (model and frame numbers from donor car) and a list of parts and ill get you a price
