  1. best pads he's come across so far...need to get some myself....once/if my suspension arrives :)
  2. i can't find ebc black on their website...have they been discontinued? i rate rb74 as well :) if money isnt an issue Project Mu level max 900....carbon metal, 900deg, no fade, last longer than rb74 & reasonable on rotors a mate of mine has trialed rb74 & project mu around QR in his bt20v and has had fade problems towards the latter part of the day on rb74's but can't fault project mu
  3. fyi i bought a rwd 4age package for 1200...that was everything, ancillaries, clutch, motor, loom etc...basically the rest of the cash went to fuel pump, lines, gaskets & wiring if you can get a ze engine & loom inc ancillaries for 1200 then go for it...these days a 1/2 cut will set you back about 2200 if not more. You can reuse the t50 behind your 4ac also the ge imo is a cheaper & easier conversion if your tackling it yourself & its your first conversion fwiw theres a guy on ae86dc thats offering a drive in drive out 4age conversion for 3600...thats about the best deal you can get if you get someone else to do the swap for you
  4. don't waste your money on an exhaust for the 4ac....save up about 2k & buy a rwd 4age package...get a few mates around, put on the beers and do the conversion yourself cheapest & best way to go about doing it in my opinion...that way you get to know your car so if anything goes wrong you've got a better idea on how to fix it thats my 2c :P
  5. nice work! any pics? so its already got a 4age/ze in it? edit: or being auto is it the 3ac?
  6. fair call jason :P as far as turboing a gze get a map version motor as its easier to work with. All you need is the turbo, manifold, fmic & associated oil & water lines you don't need an aftermarket ecu if you don't want...the stocko is quite capable of handling 1 bar. I'm usuing the standard comp with a malpassi to compensate but i will be going standalone shortly as it chews fuel like a bitch. Theres a relatively new ecu on the market called Adaptronic...it was developed on the 16v & 20v 4ages and is a good option for under 1k. as far as the comparison between bigport & smallport go general consensus seems to lean towards a bigport head if you're chasing high hp but the design & flow characteristics of the smallport head are 'better' so to speak http://www.toymods.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2568 theres a bit of discusssion as to which models came came with what goodies baiscally to get you up and running get yourself a manifold, turbo, fmic, oil & water lines & malpassi. plumb back your bov to make it legit & put it on the dyno to get your afr's right usuing your rising rate malpassi & away you go
  7. ive noticed you have issues with the sprinter jason...is it the car itself or the general attitude of the people driving them?
  8. i'd say starter...had the same problems on my 4ac ae82 & ae86. Replaced them & problem didnt re-occur. A heat shield of some sort my help if you cbf replacing it
  9. couple of pics of my old & new engines...first 2 are aw11 next 3 are ae101...ive got a few more random shots of the turbo ze edit: what type of shots are you after...if its engine only theres a few guys on toymods that have some nice pics...feral4mr2 is a guy that comes to mind
  10. yet another band aid solution to a problem thats only going to get worse i like the idea of a more flexible public transport system but they need to design alternate routes for traffic that doesnt need to go through the city. Lets face it, people today are lazy...the only way you'll get people to give up their cars is if petrol dries up overnight its seems to be a pretty standard type of solution from politicians these days...only interested in looking good during their stint & to hell with a long term lonvision. If a problem arises sell it or tax it :P that said i aviod the cbd like a plauge so I'm not fussed if they do impose a tax...but they sure as hell better put it back into roads & transport and not their already oversized pockets /rant
  11. i like them :hmm: a friend of mine has a set on his ke25 and they look overrated...suits rollas nicely imo
  12. an adm grill with toyota badge still attached! rare nice and clean...i like it :D any future modifications planned?
  13. mmm dish...those rims are hot! I want :harhar: ride height seems standard looking...
  14. panchos, zio's or ribbetts are the only places i go these days...pizza hut/dominos are very bland did you ring them up and get a free pizza?
