Yeah I don't know what happened to the alternator. When j bought it back that bolt was missing and both wires were off it also. Had to wire it back up for the 4 hour drive home. My mate got under the car not me. But I do remember now him saying something about a bolt missing. I didn't really listen much was more concerned about getting it running so we could drive it home lol

and also considering your pulling the 5k out, why wouldn't it do this? don't mind the smoke at the end, just the radiator cap blew off at the end lol.

I still can't for the life of me work out that battery issue man. I never had any issues like that. That's why I said the only thing I could think of was the cd player. Or that your not pushing the button in on the coloumn to turn the key the whole way off.
I'm sure it'll still smoke the tyres with ease for the warmup burnout :)

Sweet as Si :) that's good to know. Cause it was kinda worrying me lol. About needing to wire up all the fuel pumps properly with the relay's and fuses just to pull them out. But glad now that I know I can leave them in and it'll run fine :)

Sweet as :jamie: I'll be using the rubber mounts that came with it. Also hopefully only a few more weeks untill I have it running. Going to hook the intercooler up before getting it running also and fit the Carter pump a surge tank and the vl fuel pump. Want to get it running a1 before I pull the engine out to put my other 4k in for rwc then the turbo motor will go back in. Will have a tow car for it as of this weekend :blush: can't wait
Good to hear that it behaves itself better with the auto man. Would make life a bit easier. Makes me happy with my decision on going a manualised auto in my 36. Seeming as I'm chasing around the same power as you although with a different engine and most likely going to have less torque lol
