  1. ok guys so i have some good news. i figure out how to put the stock rear springs back in. dad came home today and saw hwo low it was at the back and demanded i put them back in haha so i rolled over and agreed. so I'm half way through, took me 2 hours to work out i should compress the stock spring to make it easier to put back in hahaha. 2nd side should only take 10 mins, if that
  2. haha yeah i had a pretty good laugh when i saw excels on forums for sale around 10,000. so i YouTubed them and got a shock haha. I'm working if i can slip work ill make it for sure.
  3. yeah i was thinking something on the lines of a gem or sigma, cheap enough and if i crash it i wont care.... to much. its either do this or a stock sedan at archerfield speed way in qld. but driving around in circles would get kinda boring
  4. Ok. so I'm 18and for as long as i can remember i have always been interested in driving fast on an unpredictable road eg: rallying. I'm just trying to get into the sport something like the Queensland Holden Gemini series. is it hard to get into? and would i be better to build my own car or just buy on pre built?

  6. hey guys, so 'mungi mods' has agreed to help me out cutting and refitting front springs next weekend. But tomorrow i have the day off so ill give it another shot then. ill pure wing it and upload some photos so everyone can see how i manage to f@$k it up hahaha

  9. just kept the cut rear springs in, but changed yhe stock shock to a shorter one... less bumpy now. yeah for the fronts I'm trying to take stocks out and put lowered kings springs in. hopefully i get it right. removing the brake lines gonna drip fluid every where right? haha never done this before
  10. ok so i need a tutorial on how to change front springs on a ke70. i would wing it and try myself but i need to drive it tomorrow haha so don't want to f@$k it... too much, i got spring compressor things and everything else needed. its just do i need to undo the brake line? if yes i need to bleed the brakes right? lol i don't know how to do that shit.. might just wing it anyway if noone can help.. thanks!
  11. trying to change them haha. but with no luck. can't get any other springs back in apart from the cut ones.. so I'm just taking out the stock struts and putting shorter ones on.. see if that meakes it handle better.. now to figure out how to undo the bolts in my boot..
  12. ok the kings spring front diameter at the top is different to the bottom so i might just leave them for the front.. haha with the bcak, instead of keeping the cut springs in I'm just trying to putt the stockies back in. But they just wont go in. makes it a bit harder with a broken wrist :jamie: it was sitting about 5 cm lower then that \/ :jamie:

  16. Hey guys thanks haha but i found a pair of cut rears today, makes the back sit nice and low :dance: . now i just need to figure out how to install the fronts ;)
  17. Hey guys, i was wondering if anyone in the Brisbane region had some spare lowered springs lying around that they want to sell. i don't really care if there kings or just cut stockies . I really need them my kesev looks like a tractor ;).
