  1. Where are you located mate?
  2. I'm keen to see this car on good friday mate, will have a yarn with you about a few of these things then, much easier then trying to explain what I'm on about on here I think. Also if there is anything you want from this vehicle: AE92 for sale, let me know, might be something of use to you there.
  3. No worries at all mate, deal!
  4. Some other pictures of my car that I like: Before I got it - as you can tell by the window tint not being as dark... Bundoora Park. Echuca. Lorne. Victoria/South Australia border. Driven, not hidden! And absolutely filthy! :sob: Has to be my favourite picture of it. Lowered with the "3 mates lowering kit". After seeing how it looked that day, I have to lower it! Same day as the previous pic, windows down so you can see why it was sitting so much lower... Thanks mate! I'm keen to see how those would look on my car, thanks!
  5. That would be awesome and very much appreciated mate!
  6. Thank you very much Josh, I appreciate it! If anyone knows of any good wheels to suit it going cheap, I would really appreciate it, or if someone could tell me what pcd and offset suits (and what other cars share the same, if any) that would be very helpful too. I'd like to remove the stock alloys and put on a nicer looking set of wheels, I'm thinking a set of 15s or MAYBE 16s, but not 17 or bigger - I'm not a fan of that look personally.
  7. I don't have any plans on getting rid of it any time soon mate, I love it, best car I've ever owned by far!
  8. Wow, it's been ages since I last updated here. Not enough hours in the day! Not all that much to report on this one, progress has been very slow, but any progress is still progress, right? Although most of it has been maintenance. I put a pair of new tyres on the front, HUGE improvement. The rear rotors have been replaced, all new pads all around, brake fluid flush. Stops much better now. ^ Old rear rotor ^ ^ New rear rotor ^ Clutch fluid flush and new fluid. CAI has been done, it's a little hobo spec, but still better then the straw it was trying to suck through. ^ Home made CAI, does the job ^ Also I did the AE101 gear shifter with a lot of help from a friend, well worth doing! If you've got a manual AE92/3, this is one thing you have got to do, feels like it should have from the factory now! Now it's time to change the gearbox oil and see how much of an improvement that makes. ^ AE92/3 on top, AE101 below ^ ^ AE92/3 on top, AE101 below ^ ^ All done. May not look much different, but trust me, it's a HUGE improvement ^ Also I got the timing belt changed, timing set perfectly, cooling system flushed, new coolant and of course every 5000kms new oil and filter. Also my car sounds much better now - when the stereo is on that is, hahaha! ^^ For those who have not seen the DVD player in it... ^^ ^^ 12" Kenwood sub (600w peak) in box and 600w (peak) amp, all connected up and bolted into place. ^^ ^^ Custom parcel shelf in place with Kenwood 6x9s (220w peak) connected up... ^^ DVDs and music are much better now!
  9. You mean the grey mine is? I wouldn't describe it as looking like a very faded black personally... Chris, some of the potential issues are really easy to check for, such as CV joints, mine will need attention soonish, so I can demonstrate how they sound when cornering if they'll need attention mate.
  10. Oh, don't get me wrong, I love the 4AGE, just wish it had more power - as it is right now it keeps pace with a mates V8, which surprised me, and I know it would leave him well behind on a windy rd. I love this little car, it sounds great, looks great and punches well above it's weight.
  11. Mitcham, although that photo up there was taken at Thornbury railway station when I was waiting to pick up a friend of mine. And thanks, I really like this car. Just needs more power, but I'm sure that can be achieved with a few upgrades to the 4AGE, and it's no slouch as it is now...
  12. A little video of my rolla: The pod is now gone and the intake is back to standard.
  13. Hi everyone. I saw a rollaclub sticker on the back of a car, so came here to check it out. Looks like a great place for me, seeing as I have a rolla myself! Mine is a Gunmetal grey 1992 Corolla SX SECA, 5 speed manual, 4A-GE 'smallport', air-con, electric windows and mirrors, DARK tinted glass. I've had it nearly a year and am very VERY happy with it, it's been reliable and it's quick enough to bring a smile to my face and not be cursing it when I need to go for a gap in heavy melbourne traffic. Although the power bug has bitten, and the plans for it include upgraded cams, cat back system, cold air intake, better tyres that actually don't struggle so much for traction in the wet...
