  1. Just found the fuse box then, it was in the boot the whole time the jerks haha Gunna use those diagrams and stuff and hopefully get it running this weekend :D
  2. hmm, that sounds like the way to go you got any photos or more info of what you did? http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/showthread.php/22625-HOW-TO-4AGE-into-ADM-AE86-AE71-Wiring-guide is this the same sort of thing as what you did mate?
  3. so last week i swapped the motor in my ke70 to a bigport 4age, and having no major experience with wiring cars up decided to send it to an auto electrician and have it done properly. the 4age is out of an ae82 i had at home and i've given them the engine loom, ecu, body loom and the coil, but they are telling me they can't do anything with it because it needs the main fuse box from under the bonnet, but now i have no idea where i put it when i was stripping the car down :( i've read that many different posts on how to wire up a 4age that i could probably write a book, but none of them say anything about using the ae82's fuse box? so basically what i want to know is do i actually need it, or is there a way to do it without it? its giving me the shits now so any help would be appreciated thanks
  4. yeah shit forgot to say it got taken from belair sa
  5. hey, had my ke70 stolen on sunday night from out the front of my house :n: if anyones seen it around or anything let me know it's a dark red slanty front, 14" minilites on the front, 13" csx rims on the rear back of the car is lowered(didn't get around to doing fronts hahaha) no back seat, for hectic drift action :y: you'll no doubt hear it before you see it due the f***ed out wheel and diff bearings haha got an ajps sticker and a fancy burger sticker on the back window oh and the plates are XLL 270 so yeah if you see it anywhere please let me know cheers :)
  6. i've got a ke70 with a big port 4age, we can get it to crank but not fire, just wanna know exactly what wires in the ecu need to be connected, we've got the engine loom all hooked up, but the 14 pin plug is missing looked on google, but that didn't help i know heaps of people on here have done it, just wanna know exactly what you did cheers
  7. alright so i've currently got an ae71 but the body is pretty shot, one of my mates is selling a slant front ke70 rolling shell, just wondering how hard it would be to convert from the cable clutch to hydraulic? i'll just be putting in my 4ac for now and when i get some funds together, hopefully i'll drop in a 4age :D if anyones done this before..pretty sure someone has..i'd love some tips cheers
  8. my mate is selling his bluebird, had a fair bit of work done to it...blacktop sr20det out of an s15 silvia, full exhaust (think it's 3inch) VL fuel pump and surge tank installed in the boot everything has all been done neatly think he's trying to get rid of it pretty cheap..around $4,000, the engine alone has been quoted at being worth $3,000, add to that the cost for radiator, intercooler, gearbox, exhaust..it all adds up wants to sell as a whole, but may part out, if there is enough interest anymore questions call or text him on 0407691001
  9. alright so i wanna weld the diff in my AE71, but ive never owned a corolla before. so would it be better to wait for next winter to come around, or just go for it? and are all the axels and stuff strong enough to drive it around day to day, or should i start collecting a few spare diffs, axels etc?
  10. cheers for that mate, all the plates say 4ac, the rego sticker says it's a 4a****** so i just got confused with it. i know what you mean about the sticker looking 'aftermarket' hahaha thanks for the help though... i realise now that perhaps a bit of research should go on, before posting on here haha
  11. hey guys, I'm new to the rolla scene...just bought an ae71, with what I thought was a 4ac. but after poking around under the engine bay I noticed a sticker on the side of the engine saying...3scv or some shit...WTF is a 3scv? anyway it seems as though it's on it's last legs, so whats the cheapest engine conversion that will still make me shit it when I stamp the loud peddle :laff: cheers guys, i'll try get some pics up of it probably in another thread
