  1. ah beautiful. going to have this book marked, really don't like the idea of having to fit the pedal box, I have no idea why I dread it but to me it makes me cringe for some reason lol, I'm pretty sure I am going to buy this overrated ass ae71 up in brissy thats still up for sale I HOPE. so it will have the auto diff in it :D Ah well I have more question but I will sort out a car before I annoy more people with questions, very very much appreciated dave, may even make me up a build thread :D Cheers for the help guys. Deeken
  2. thanks heaps for that dave, thats really the only info i needed... sorta.. for the t50 i'll need an ae71 tailshaft won't i? the ke70 one doesnt fit, nor does an ae71 auto tail shaft, and i need an ae71 manual diff?
  3. Full running engine rwd intake/exhaust.. mounts with a ae71 xmember, its rwd.. otherwise I would mention it.. no box.. just the engine (as posted no clutch or flywheel either). Got 2 harness'.. the one on the engine is supposedly complete but there has been shit cut on it.. the other has been 'played with a bit' i was told. I have 2 ecu's one which was running in the car when the engine was pulled out, other one is supposedly a spare i think. No air cleaner.. or radiator.. just the engine, but do have a reco ke70 radiator sitting around which would be sufficient to get the engine running I would guess. Also piss easy to knock up an air cleaner/clamp one to the throttlebody LOL As I asked in OP, I'm curious as to whether I could use the ke70 pedal box/would like to know whether it would be easier finding an ae71 or just using a ke70.. Also, I will be needing a t50/tailshaft/diff, won't I? don't think I've seen anyone anywhere say that the ae71 tailshafts bolt to a ke70 diff..
  4. The car would be a ke70 as listed, the engine is a 16v bigport, full engine with harness and ecu as listed, does not have a flywheel/clutch as listed, kinda thought people would assume if that is what I list as having that is most likely what I have. Meaning I don't have anything else for it. Asking the question about putting it into a ke70 you would have to assume it has everything a ke70 would have on it. Cheers, sorry if my post was unclear in any way. EDIT: btw, thanks mr. clown lol (destroyer)
  5. Hey guys, atm I have a 16v tvis bigport sitting in my garage and was wondering if yous would be able to list everything I need to get it into a ke70.. Got the full engine, harness, ecu. Engine has no flywheel/clutch, has intake/exhaust. Wondering with the shit like whether I would need an ae71 pedal box, clutch cables, box, tailshaft, diff? Can any of the ke70 running gear run on the 4a and if I got an ae71 would it be any easier? Cheers guys, Sorry if this has been listed before :/
  6. haha that would technically make it a 5 sec car :P
  7. Guessing that using this technique (lol) I will just be able to look at my door internals and see what is wrong with my rear windows? (both rears have detached from the regulator I think and can't be wound up or down, but moved with your hands)
  8. Ahh yeah man, I thought I found a seller on here, I haven't been able to find it again, would you happen to know where the thread is?
  9. Mmm Don't want want the hassle of swapping out the whole front of the car.. just to fit quads, just to make chrome bumpers look more fitting =/ do yous know anyone that sells alot of bumpers? or where I could find some bumpers to buy? I FINALLY found a front bumper on here, for $20 I messaged the guy like 2 hours after he posted it up and asked him if he could post it and I would pay the postage, and he wouldn't even do that.. I can't find ANY bumpers on here...
  10. Hmm looks kinda mongol with a slant front lol, btw, are most of the chrome bumpers that are made for ke70s, made for the flat front aswell? :(
  11. Hey, just another noob question I know, but also something I haven't come across on the forums, I can remember I found a thread somewhere with a guy selling quad light set ups and chrome bumper set ups. I really really wanted to get some 'cause they look awesome but the bumpers on my corolla atm are shitty and bent, I was wondering if the chrome bumpers came with like the proper brackets to bolt straight onto the car? And just as a kind of side note, do you need the flat front set up for quads? :/ Cheers! Deeken.
  12. HAHAHAHA, Nah I'll be thorough when I do it :P Umm you guys reckon cutting them to like 250mm free height to begin with or something? I see alot of people running 210-220mm free height.. guess that would be under the legal ride height? =/
  13. ^^^^ hahaha yeah, also wouldnt the king springs for kerollas be softer than the falcon springs? I like stiff rides lol :P What free height should I cut the springs to, to sit just below stock height? like above legal height, and which end do I cut, and which way do I put the springs in lol =/ May sound noob but I don't wanna break anything in the car and I've never cut springs..
  14. well atm, my car is on bump stops. the falcon springs seem a hell of alot taller than the springs in it, thought I could cut them a little higher than what most people do so it would atleast be legal height... The height at which it sits now is illegal anyway.. why not cut some springs to raise it and paint them to look like king springs anyway. Cheers.
  15. Hey guys, just purchased a pair of AU falcon sedan springs, just need a cheap option to raise my ke70 a bit.. I've seen alot of people talking about them, but I have never had/cut springs before! Just wondering if yous could gimme a few pointers on heights to cut em to for diff ride heights and how to install em safely! Cheers guys, Sorry if this has been covered before! Deeken.
