  1. If you use a 3K head on a dished piston 4K you will lower the compression ratio.

A 4K Head from a dished piston motor on a flat top motor will give a huge unusable compression ratio and would probly have problems with valves hitting pistons.

If your doing a rebuild, i would just convert to flat tops and a shaved 4K head.

  2. Bought a new KE70 today.

Its beige with late model front.

Its got a locker, cut springs, tacho dash and twin upswept tip :D

Oh and the best part hardly any rust, just a little bit in the tyre well.

Paid 400 for it and it came with loads of stockys and tyres. A few hard old 155s to help the 4K slide ;)

Few problems are cracked windscreen and a pretty mangled r/h/f guard. but ive got the parts to replace these on my old sev.

Plans for it are firstly tidy it up and do a bit of suspension work, then either my 4K Turbs setup or a 16v.

Ill get pics up tomorrow, when i get it home.

  3. Goes good, has a bit more torque than a 3K/4K. Perfect cheap engine for a daily, would go excellent with a few mods like cam, carbs etc. But at least now ive got a reliable engine for my daily and i don't have to flat foot it everywhere and leave clouds of smoke like in the 3K

Thanks for supplying the engine

    Cheers, Rob

  4. But its missing a turbo :D .

All exhaust leaks are now fixed thanks to D and T Performance, I highly reccomend them to anyone in Adelaide, go to the one in Salisbury on Commercial Road, good prices and they do a really good job.

    More pics, (A few random)
