  1. thank you ella, i went to J&c autos and they said i can get it fully dyno tuned to its full potential, they said it will tune up nicely and charged about 250$ for tuning it.
  2. Hey guys and girls i recently got a 34ADM DGEV weber from a XF for free from a work mate, i plan on rebuilding it, yes i know, its pretty big carb for a stock 4k, but obviously i plan to tune it, but so far looking for recommended jetting for a 34adm suiting 1300cc engine is very hard, so i am referring to what jets people use to tune 32/36 due to the fact they are quite identical carburetors and have the same jets. These are the jets I've summed up, I'm looking at ordering these. Primary main jet = 125, Air corrector = 180, Emulsion tube = F50, Idle jet = 55 Secondary main = 130, Air corrector = 195, Emulsion tube = F66, Idle jet = 50 please help through opinions and Jets you used or even some helpful information. thanks, kezzar :D
  3. yeah i do kinda agree with the over 15in statement, but yeah 15 x 8's with a 0 to 25+ offset is what my aim is at, my mate got Rota Classic (V's) on hes Gemini such as the ones i linked and they look really nice, but i also really like the look of the silver 15x8 XXR 513 (wantanabee style wheel)plus the price is unbelievable, $680 is the pricing for most the 15x8-15x7 XXR's and its around $800 for the Rota. XXR's are lighter and a lot better quality as i've heard.
  4. i also have my eye on these, 15 or 16x7 with +15 offset, otherwise as stated just 15x8's +0 of these, what do you guys think, black center chrome lip or or full silver, chrome lip?
  5. Now that I've got abit of realization I'm looking at these http://www.xxrwheels.com/sportmax_501.shtml either the 15x8,s with the 3 inch dish or the 15x7 with 1.5 inch dish, opinions please. Cheers
  6. givin the forums a quick read through that 15x8 0- is perfect fit with 175/65 or 185/60. as quoted "Panelvan rears actually hold a bit better offset than sedans" ill just have to see :)
  7. hey i've got a mechanics an apprenticeship sent signed and delivered :) soon and i plan on getting some 0 offset rotas, i know they are knock offs but theyll look nice for the time being, i'm looking at 15x9's (0 offset) but i'm wondering if they will legally fit stock guards on my ke70. this is my baby :) and the rims i want to fit. cheers, :D
  8. hey fellas, i recently brought some bumpers and i require some brackets to be made up to fit them. i live in the Redlands(brisbane) if anyone could recommend a place that could do this. also what would you quote for some brackets to be measured and made up. cheers
  9. Hey, a couple weeks back parts sales man yangzeen had a bit of a dispute with one of the users of the forum which set back my parts delivery a fair bit, it resulted in hes post being locked and he was given a bad reputation from it, today i finally got my set of ke74 bumpers and i must say they were immaculate and it was worth the wait, i feel sorry for whoever it was who got a bad item. but this is some reassurance that although he had a slip up he still can provide the good stuff :), here's what i received :D
  10. shull do :), i've heard that ae86 strut tower braces fit e70's like mine, is this true?
  11. hey fellas, i have a ke70 1984 slant front wagon and i was wondering if these http://ajps.com.au/parts/ajps_coilovers.asp would bolt straight into my car. if so does anyone have recommendations on a less pricier set of front coil overs.
  12. I'm pretty unexperianced, but are u able to go to your local turbo/exhaust fabricator shop (stock carb and 4k) and ask then do it for you, if so what would you say a rough quote would be,and would it be a big difference in power running 4/5 p boost?
  13. I'm looking to buy some nice rims for my beige ke70 wagon, its 110mms off the ground (king springs and lowering blocks nothing fancy) and i wouldn't mind peoples opinions on what size in inches fills the wheel arches, or gives a nice look, what width is to much and even what color should i get whether its black, white or polished alloy >.<, sounds a bit stupid but this is what I've had my eyes on. http://www.ozzytyres.com.au/wheels/ozzy-racing-rsgt-gloss-black/ http://www.ozzytyres.com.au/wheels/ozzy-racing-rsgt-hyper-black/ http://www.ozzytyres.com.au/wheels/ozzy-racing-rsgt-Matt-black/ give us ya opinions and advice, Cheers
  14. its in and working, pretty dodgy looking, but starts good, all i need to do is bracket the acceleration cable so get a more accurate and steady idle :) cheers for your help so much fellas :)
  15. i got the extractors and a good pretty good exhaust system so i guess ill just have to see
  16. will there be much increase in power or throttle response once the carb is in and running perfect?
  17. Thanks heaps should have enough confidence to do it now seems so straight forward thanks heaps fellas Cheers, kerry
  18. kk so my understanding now is block of Canister(or do i take it out?), block of BVSV, put mini breathers on the hose coming from the rocker head since the new filer doesnt facilitate for them anymore, connect fuel line and connect dissy line to carb?, btw if this minuses the amount of hoses needed i do not have a choke on my carb?
  19. i am changing my standard 4kc carb with a weber 32/36 dgav, and I'm looking at the engine bay of my ke70 wondering on how I'm going to go about installing my carb, what has to go from the engine bay, what holes are safe to block ect ect and what size hosing ill need buy for the fuel line. but i look at this one component and think wut? ill post a diagram pic with my concern, then a blank canvas where you may draw your opinion or how you went about this component and hoses when u installed a Weber, otherwise when you installed your Weber what parts and hoses were useless in the installation of your weber carburetor. I'm amature as all shit with this stuff but your help is overly appreciated. thank you, kezzar
  20. Lowered the back i ended up milling the lowering blocks down to 1.75 to get a more level drop looks very nice :D , and recently got and rebuilt and cleaned my 32/36, all i need is the adapter kit and filter and it should be good. ill put some pics up soon. feel free to share some info on what i should do before first putting the carburetor on, i think its tuned on 1.6l(may work idk), so even a list of jet sizes to use in the near future. cheers fella's
  21. Hilux diff is probably the diff you would want I think it's 10-20 mm longer so it may not need shortening but you need to change the diff mounts to fit the wagon leafs (I'm unsure of which hilux but there is tonnes of diff/LSD threads though out the forum)
  22. A good sound >.<
  23. i spent a day hacksoring my mates exhaust of hes written of ke70 sedan and got the extractors of him, it was a 2 1/2 inch straight through, with pacemaker extractors to twin under sweep pipes, took it to the local exhaust shop and he extended molded and fitted it to my ke70 wagon, only 3 hours labor, he didn't charge me for the extra pipe used. and as far as I'm concerned it sounds like piston sex. :D in total it only cost about 300 bucks for extractors and whole exhaust plus labor. :) P.S i think the 4kc carby linkage and extractors share the same bolt so its about an hour more labor, don't take my word for it but :P
  24. how do you go about having a supercharger on your p's?
  25. kk so next on my list is to get the back lowered, ive decided to get the leafs reset, and found i close by place that will do so, I'm looking at getting the back dropped 2-2 and half, opinions please :). heres another pic of the cars current state :3.
