hey... sorry if this is a "noob" question.. and I'm not really looking for another link... but with this sr convertion... it would be easyer to pretty much just get an sr20 half cut and transfer pretty much the whole thing right? ( i know no where near that simple) but is that the general idea? please don't roast me... :blush:

hey guys. i just starting to plan my big old convertion... for my ke70. BUT i wanted to get an sr20 det so i was wondering if that is even street legal to have that chillin in your car?? :blinks:

narr man all ya need is a couple of weldin sticks and a welder and youll be sweeet. sticks = $20 welder = mates ;) mad wet skidz = priclesss :y:

hey guys. i have a ke70 with its stocko diff inside. but now having these P plate laws. i am now forced to to keeep my 4 K sooo long story short. I'm looking to lock my diff but am unsure of where to get this done? can anyone help?

woow thanks guys. but holy cr@p that is a lot of money :S i have never done an engine convertion before (not hard to tell) and that looks like a HUGE ammount of work for a first time :( does anyone know of something that would be *cheaper* but still gimme some go when i want it?? sorry for the stupid questions :S Sr20? 4age? any others??? not to sure about the sr would that be same sorta work lload as the 3sge?

P.S I have a 1984 ke70 with a stock 4K in it. 5 speed manual.

hey all! (I'm only planing not actually starting this yet) i saw a picture of a ke with a 3sgeT in it. and got me thinkin what sort of stuff i would need to get the engine into mine? i found out that the engine was from a toyota Hiace.... but that was just a mate tellin me that so idk what year or anything. if any one could give me a link or if they actually what i would need to do this would be fantastic! (sorry for any bad spelling)

hahaha I'm not in school broo. finished last year hahaha race motor.... dude its a 4 K hahah i havent done anything to me engine yet. cause well its a 4 k do i needa say more? I'm just gonna do a swap down the line.

well..... i can't weld my self but my dad is hell good so ill ask him if he can help me out again. he welded up my roof and just uder the fuel cap. (mad rusty)
