  1. I have a basket full of them from when i was born.. I never treated them like crap or in dirt. I have a track for them which you can make and change. Aswell as towers etc for them.

The only one i have still in the box is a 2005 Subaru impreza STI WRC car Solberg/Mills.

I have a HDT VS V8 supercar aswell but i liked playing with it too much

  2. Dead right.. I spun at wake field at 140 and just went onto the grass. The only thing you have to look out for is the traffic light stands on the infield. Or if your a muppet and try to drift the last corner and clip the pit wall.

Its the best fun out there but have decent pads and fluid or its just no fun

  3. If i can't find another shell then ill part out my KE55. The 4k has fullservice recipts from brand new.. Inc 2 headgasket replacements in 30 years and a full vslve grind/head service.

But I'm screaming for a KE30/55 shell, so if anyone has one, let me know

  4. Hey dudes,

We had a car show here in canberra on the weekend which also incorperated a dyno comp. Since my project car wasnt finished in time i took the daily along for shits and giggles.

1981 ke55 corolla with 4 speed, standard 4k with 301,000kms on the clock. New spark plugs, fuel filter and points 1000kms ago.

We took the aircleaner lid off for maximum flow and strapped it down.

    This is the result:

Marcus, as you csm see 6623 is where maximum power was achieved.. Look closely at the curve as power starts to drop as it passes 7000rpm.

Due to the car having no tacho or revlimiter (of course). Valve bounce was the choice of knowing when to stop ;)

It was great for a laugh though, the car before me was a supra that made 320kws.

  6. I will replace pads on customers cars if the pad material is equal or lower than the backing thickness, of coursr some cars like falcons don't have a thick pad to begin with. But its a good rule to stick with.

Obviously rear shoes are different, and you tend to want to change them with 2mm left, and they do wear uneven too.

  7. Hey guys, just a reminder that the Light car club of canberra will be holding their last Khanacross for this year at the paddock next to the grey hound racing track in symonston on the 3RD OF DECEMBER.

You will need you 2NS CAMS licence which can be done on the day.

Entry is like $70 so cheap fun :)

Ill let you guys know more as it gets closer to the date.

Shannons will be sponsering the event and there is small prizes for many novilty awards :)
