Tried to get it to Idle on it own and idle smooth. I hate Carbys and dizzys :(!!!! Tried another carby, gapped the points bigger... Still nothing.

So i have kind of lost the love for the little corolla :( It has been sitting out the front for 5 months as it decided to not idle for me anymore and the rego ran out which i didnt renew. It kinda sucks as this means i have put 13,000kms on my Evo in 5 months and 2 tanks of fuel per week is killing me. Help me get the love back guys!!!

Saw a yellow 4 door KE30/55 pulling onto coulter drive this arvo. It was a nice bright yellow aswell. I was about 15 cars infront

There isnt many cruises, but i myself go out for a drive on a friday night to kill some time, but mainly in the Evo, as the rolla is my daily :) I think the PCD is 4x114.3 and and Low RwD offset will fit (35-0)

Hi Adam, My names Lance and i have a white KE55 sedan. Welcome to rolla club. I'm sure you have seen myself or other rollas around belconnen. Sounds like you got yourself a great project though, You can't really turn them into power machines unless you ditch the motor, but tidy it up and enjoy it

I love the idea of No Tacho, its always a mystery as what revs your at when you bang it bang to 2nd to overtake in a 60 zone. -Lance ;)

Sounds like your not really taking care of it dude, hence why no one is really replying. I painted my wheels in a plain silver from supercheap auto. I used 240, then 600 grit sand paper to rough up the wheels, then lightly with 800 to get it all smooth. Then applied 3 coats of paint, lightly ;). Clear coat them will be alot better! As for engines, K series motors are slow, leak and in efficient. however they are Reliable and will last forever if you treat them with respect. You will get beaten by stock v6 commodores and the humble prius. Thats the ugly truth. Put a 4k in, with a good tune up (spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, points, condenser and get the timing right) My 4k made 32kws at the wheels (40hp) which was 10% of my last weekend car that i sold. And to be honest. Its almost just as fun! Enjoy the car the way they were made :)

Updates? None really marcus. I covered up the front speaker holes made from the previous owner with speaker covers. It needs a service and wash as i have only washed it once since i bought it :( Project evo has been getting all the attention lately
