youre right they wont fit... till i hand flare the guards... :P as for dropping them off? err no ;) i got a mate at cty tyre service who already hooks me up with second hand tyres from time to time he said he can hook me up with cheaper new stuff too tho i don't reackon he could get racing rubber cheap... will see how i go. need to have it ready to race first.. and on that note I'm off to start doing a few mods..

hrmm well we will see... I AM still lookin for a new vehicle but its not so urgent now. tho if this sprinter is a goer I'm defniately interested... If i can't find one thats not overly overpriced (like a certain white one for sale on boostcruizing) I'm going AE95 wagon shopping... one was advertised in last saturdays papaer only 1400 bucks and that was ONO prolly coulda talked him down a little... My mate (the welder) came to look at the car todayand said itd be no sweat at all to weld up my car. Hes going to brisbane (for jamboree the lucky bugger) on wednesday but cause hes a legend hes going to weld it all up for me monday afternoon after work... He said that the way hes going to weld it it will never be a problem again and will be stronger than it was standard. While its up on the stands hes going to look at seam welding it all too.That will make her a mlittle stffer and slightly quicker round the track if i have enough spare dosh/time to finally get out on the track on the 30th. He did all of the fabrication work on the Orange 10 second street registered FJ ute that I'm sure many of you guys have been amazed by at this years drag meets and street meets. if he can put together an old car like that and make it steer that straight with that much power the rolla should be a doddle.Normally he charges big $$$$ for labour but being a mate hes going to do me a good rate and I'm going to put a buzurk racing fabrications (the name of his company) sticker on the car. Does anyone here have a good camera or video camera? id love to see the 82 in action on film when it makes its trasck debut... I don't suppose with your motor sports contacts adam you could tell me where to get 15x8 inch rubber? id prefer racing compound rubber but anything you could find really its a fuggen rare size... My mate is giving me the wheels, they are going to be f@$king huge in the rolla tho, ill have to look into finding some bolt on flares if i want to run those wheels on the street...

Hey all my rolla is officialy a write off... basically its copped some structural damage from the accident i had and isnt at its best anymore... got a mate coming to weld it all up tomorrow but still even so I'm not happy with it, as a result i now looking for a car to stick my rollas engine into. If any one knows of any AE82 hatches, AE95 wagons id be keen to have a look at em. Also adam you sid you know of a 1500 dollar AE86? got some details? id be pretty keen to purchase...

yeah i meant the microtech I'm after a ECU for my AE82 so i may run some sexy quad throttle bodies i have put away it can't be done with standard ECU apparently. as for the 1.8's they will be built beautifully, by a friend who is a pro mechanic, hes built a few tough N.A cars in his time. Ill just be learning how to do it at the same time... If i didnt plan to use them both i wouldnt be greedy and take both the cheap bottom ends id be offering one to you so err yeah unfortunatly they arent for sale. tho i know o one for sale for a thousand bucks... :lock: bout ten times what I'm paying tho... i have one 16v cam cover and one GZE cam cover... problem being niether have oil cap holes ROFL, my motor on the other hand has two ;) one toyota oil cap and one HKS oil cap (yep I'm just a ricer at heart) ive mixed and matched MR2 and bigport rocker covers just for something different

as for the bigport head thing... well i have two of them but don't want to part with them, I'm getting a couple of 1.8l bottom ends for next to nothing, I'm going to learn to build an engine or two :lock:

which cam cover i have one of each i wont be using soon, just gotta get some paint stripper

the man speaks wise words there imnost... I happen to have a Standard RB20 turbo that I'm selling matty would you be intereted in buying it? Its off a cefiro (blacktop RB20) so its a little bigger than your R31 passage GT NICS RB20 turbo. Also if youre considering a donk swap VL turbo engines arent bad for the cheap prices they command for a well built one, being a R31 its perfectly legal to use it, as they had a RB30 version as well and being slightly simpler of an engine they are easier to work on for a less skilled mechanic. Single Cam RBs FTMFW!!!

I got the job done by a couple of friends (and watched closely, learnt a little), both trained mechanics and using a hoist and they agreed that it was definatley one of them "don't do it on the driveway at home jobs" seriously go have a look where it is on your one, man not a easy task.

yeah I'm most definately running at the night meet on the 30th likely to have the corolla sorted by then and most likely will have a new toy to test out in the slideways events too... (The VL is hopefully making way for something a litlle mre fun/thrashable very soon)
