yeah mate I have a import ke70 with some pretty serious metal issues lol. I have a welder but I'm not cofident on doing it my self. Cars too rare to go blowing holes in the body everywhere lol.

most k series motors mount on that angle mate, itll be fine, place it on the factory engine mounts for the car. your putting it into. some cars you will need to mod the sump for clearence.

A dump tip on the end of the exhaust will always help the reading get that little bit lower

Hey guys, As some of you know i have some pretty crazy plans for my little Ke70, and while the body is stripped back to nothing i plan to make it as strong as possible!. I Have been carefully studying the corollas frame work as i have been stripping it out and i have come to the conclusion i can likely build a certain amount of extra strength just by adding some material in as bracing in key points of the car. Does anyone have any opinions reagurding this? ill post some pics of some of the points i have been studying if anyone has any input into the matter id really appreciate it! Cheers. Luke.

Did a but more on her this evening, the only thing left on the shell now is a boot lid, the fuel and brake lines running underneath and the fuel tank. Need to find a way of organising everything atm its all just a mess on the floor lol.

Righto so its been a fairly long time so here goes. Been a lot going on in my life since my last post in here, but i still have the old DX! Ive even been doing stuff with it. firstly My partner Bec and i moved into a New house. With a HUGE shed, heres a pic of becs vitara parked in there when we first moved in. then i filled it with cars and stuff then we got drunk in it somewhere in there i found the time to start stripping the DX for the next round of things I'm doing to it.
