Ill keep that in mind dude thats a good idea, one of my mates suggested using torlley jacks on the corner that it has no suspensoin and pushing it onto the trailer, probably try that first, much cheaper than hiring a fork

Wow sucks to be you working during bathurst! Can anyone think of a way to get a car with no rear end in it onto a car trailer? Besides the obvious get a winch and skull drag the bastard lol... Ive scored a AE82 with some bits in it i want for nothing and need to get it down to the shed to strip out... It has a 4AGE in it too, but some pricks taken the head :2thumbs:

the version i want is the AE95 not the longtitudinal engined AE82 tercel. they have uber weak gearboxes... i want the whole body not just the gearbox. don't forget i still have a crabwalker at the moment :dance: if anyone knows of one of these for sale or at a wreckers let me know plz oh and as for driveshafts, they will become an issue if it ever arises, i don't think a Bigport has enough power to kill any driveshafts...

got the rolla to my mate today... got a good look under it and measured a few things... yep shes a write off, but meh it still drives ok...ish so yeh I'm officially looking for either a sprinter or a AE95 wagon, no more AE82 for meeee

I'm actually going to spend the weekend deatiling rolly.. once its all welded up sunday i wouldnt mind if somone here who has a digital camera to take some piccys :D or maybe if you lot are keen do a "meet up on the foreshore sunday arvo" thing. We coulds take some photos then. Been going there a fair bit on a sunday arvo lately, great way to wind down a weekend, good food, good cars, great mates AND THE BEST PERV lol...

like i stated in the first place, there is no dipstick! there is three plugs in the charger, one is the filler in the top, one is the drain in the bottom, and one is the fill er up till it pours out this hole level guide. (level plug like a gearbox)

if its enough to fill the supercharger thats a good price by me ;) you pay for good uality oils, your stuff never breaks. :P

yes but I'm stating its better to use the right tool for the right job ;)

just quietly id prolly use the proper oil for it from toyota, cheap fix now could mean expensive fix later.... My engine scince it was new (only 20000ks ago now ;) ) has been using the best synthetic oils available, usually at 90 buks or more for 5 litres... The fact that in a bore scope look it still looked brand new in each of the cylinders when i had it inspected when i bought it is testament to the fact that good oils are a must, this engine has hit redline daily for all of that 20 thou ks and it still looks new. if you yeally want t use something else look on twincam.org for threads concerning what you need to use. these guys really know their stuff when it comes to ANYTHING A series based.
