hey guys sorry to dig up an old topic but its better than posting a new one if i can help it..... ive just gotten a KE70 but it has a bosch GT40 std replacement coil with resistor and ballast and that shizzle which has now died but it also has a IC+E electronic dizzy. what coil should i be runnning? bearing in mind its a 11:1 compresssion, big cammed and 32/36 webered ex speedway motor that turns to 8000rpm. I'm assuming a HEC right? its going in for a tune on Tuesday and i don't want any spark issues on the dyno so i wont be going with another GT40 cause it appears i have the wrong setup judging by what is said in this thread. If so how do i wire it up and what stuff do i get rid of? Will my tacho still work? if not how do i get it to work, just a std tacho dash.

do you know where adam lives? then you know where i live too lol. lol i don't normally even look at 4x4 tyres man, tho ill have a dig about the places i get my tyres and see what i can dig up.... arent you meant to do four of the same in 4x4s cause different tyres are bad for the 4x4 system? or is it onlky like dat with WRXes and EVOs and gt4s and the likes??? oh and i'm waiting on bank details to put a deposit on a new rolla to get me to and from work in style :(

G'day, Just turned my laptop on to find that it had run out of battery while the evil Ella was logged into this forum. So..........while I'm here I thought I might throw my hat into the ring and offer any assistance I can to RollaClub members needing advice on suspension set-up, tyre pressures etc with regards to Lapsprinting. About a million years ago I sprinted a white MR2 for a full season and gained some valuable knowledge in the process. As a former toyota guy I will be happy to pass on anything I've learned, particularly if it helps Toyota's go faster than Nissan's on racetracks. Cheers, Steve Allen
