i hope thats not a dig at me and/or my inability to ft the alternator at home??? 1 i have nothing more then some screwdrivers and a 30cm long shifter. niether of these tools is going to be of much help... I need to get all my tools out of storage :y: 2 You have a AE82 twinky too, Go have a look and see where it is (its definately not a easy job) 3. Because It is my daily driver (yes my daily hack i have a different toy for playing on the weekends now) it needs to be reliable so i'd rather it was done under the supervision of a professional with the correct tools.

nope cause i don't have the tools to fit the bloody alternator...

got a altrernator off taylz about ten minutes ago... also got a nice set of 20v exctractors so ill have 2 sets. starting to hoard stuff away in anticitpation of moving into a shed lol

when your looking at that alt (like its in front of ya) could you call me so i can ask a few questions about it? or just mms me a few photos if its a camera phone...

ou can use em for the tmie being, that money for rims is no doubt going to go on the alternator :( so id say week or two before i wanna come get em...

If you do happen to find an alternator i have cash ready to go right this second...

PS: Rollys alternator blew up last night... anyone got a spare one in darwin? Ancullen: with your vast knowledge of all things toyota can you tell me where i can get a alt from? like as in which cars are interchangeabe? i have a 4ac which i could steal that off it fits but i don't think it will... cheers for any help you can give i wanna get her goiin again asap!

ive found a 2 door EE80 like a ae80 but with 2 doors and a 2e-FE engine in it thinking about buying it for a replacement when i build rolly a 1.8l engine and stick her on the track full time (yes I'm going to turn it into a circuit basher) how cool would a 2 door be? lighter too :laff:

what model GZE do you have? theres always std top mounts for sale on Twincam.org, go check out the parading toast area (they have a weird name for the trading post) and see if you can find anything there i know theres at least one.

if you want and promise to look aftet it i have a boost guage you can borrow so you can check where the leaks are and how much boost you are loseing ;) also i have pencilled the next drift and lapsprints day into my calander to make rollys debut so youd better be there so i have something which i may be able to keep up with :P if you don't ill err throw rocks at you or something lol

no thanks man FWD and turbo don't belong in bed together, ill stick to the engine i have with quad throttles and a hit of gas and a LSD 6 speed when i can finally find one :D
