  5. THANK YOU EVAN G for answering my question regarding the replacement of headbolts , very good advice, while taking a closer look i noticed some damage which looks like heat damage ", it's funny how we don't see things until someone has said have a look . regards jackolla . = john .
  6. jackolla melb vic .....hello to all ke70 people first time back since april , i've got the cylinder- head off my ke70 and would like to know if it is nessasary to replace the head-bolts befor putting it all back together, i've heard of people putting all new head-bolts back on but if it's not absolutely nessasary, why do it . my ke70 is a 1984 model stanard 4kc 1.3lt engin done275000 km.thanks. :clover:.
  7. hello. 1984 ke70 1.3ltr 275000km . fuel pump leaks petrol from weap hole at base of unit when engin is running , can anyone tell me what the cause might be . thanks regards john .
  8. thank you altezzaclub for answering my valve clearence question . while working on my car i've noticed petrol dripping from bottom of fuel pump , but only when engin is running , can any one tell me what may be causing this . also today i posted another question , i asked if any one could tell me what the correct torque wrench setting is for head bolts, i got an answer saying 50ftlb is this correct for a 1984 ke70 4kc 1.3lt stanard original engin. done 275000. thanks regards john . :osama: .

  10. hi, i've recently had the head off my 1984 corolla it is a ke70 4kc 1.3 ltr done 275000 klms . since putting head back on it runs a little bit rough , i set the valve clearence at .008 inlet and .012 exhaust is this the right valve clearence . :hmm:
