  4. Ok so bought lowering blocks. Got them home and they didnt fit after been told theres two different kinds for a ke30 and sussing out which ones i need they still don't fit...Heres why the centre bolt on the lowering block is to big..as in diametre the centre bolt on the block is 25mm and the hole where it goes into on the axle is only 18mm. So I'm wondering if anyone has run into the same problem, or if anyone knows a part number for what i need!! Thanks guys
  5. Hey guys there a million topics like this newbies like me asking what seem like stupid questions about simple stuff!! I'm going to lower my ke30, I'm doing it myself with 3' lowering blocks rear and lowered springs front. I know thats not the best option but i cannot justify the amount of money it will cost to get it lowered by a pro. (and ive been shopping around for about 3 months now) Anyway i don't wana blabber on i have the skills to do it I'm just unconfidant about doing it as ive never done it before. The rear i think will be a piece of cake. The front is what worries me. what is the best method to remove the strut, control arm, ball joint etc? So some help advice or even if people know of videos or like step by step manuals its my daily drive so I'm really trying not to ʞ©$ɟ up! Thanks guys if you've read this.

  7. yea i recon the webber is way to go!!!...Ive called around everyone i know and the only real way to do it is to get a manifold made or source an opel manifold and fix it up to fit but stuff that. What would be the best webbers to put on a 3k?
  8. ive been thinking on it all week...the 5k idea is obviously a good one there a lil more powerful and they sound better!!..but i just have a thing about keeping the 3k butting on twin webbers extractors and an exhaust and some gilmer pulleys and just cruising lol
  9. Hey i was just wondering if i could put a Varajet II onto my 3k and what would be involved in fitting it?..Like manifold wise tunning etc? I know there a GM carb but they were desinged pretty much just to be used on an opel 1.8ltr motor!
  10. I just really don't wana ʞ©$ɟ around with engine swaps I'm not equipped to do it myself!!! Anyone got opinions on the easiest cheapest way to lower the ke30.
  11. Hey people ive just bought my first ke30. Need some advice all i want to do is lower it so could do with some prices and ideas! And other than that extractors and exhaust boring really but thats pretty much all i want and maybe twin SU carbs or maybe even bike carbis! So people who have done this stuff which will be loads of you lol. Come give me advice all opinions welcome. But i will say this i don't wana put a 4k or 5k or 7k in. Just wana play with the 3k abit if i want heaps of power ill just drive my V8 LOL!
  12. hey guys nice to see all these ke's..I just bought my first ke30 its a 78 all bog standard and has full history right up until the actual recipt of purchase in 78!...Its been a long time been messing around with old v8s for the last 2 years glad to get back to old 4 bangers!
