Couple spare minutes to start making up dump pipe, bought a stainless 2.5in to 4in cone reducer from Europe on eBay as couldn't find one in Australia was bout $20, so just cut it to suit the 3.5in pipe.

Yea I hate when people come in on someone's build or tell you that it won't work or that's not going to last cos it's your own car and you can do whatever the fark you want to. I had a old 120y work car with 260rwhp and everyone said the old bw68 diff would break and never did and it got a pizzling.

Ke2020, to be honest not too sure but just plans to get it going first then worry bout that stuff another time. I do want to keep it as stock as possible. Will just have to drive it like a pansy to start with.

Thanks ke2020 it means a lot. Hopefully another alloy donut turns up this weekend and some fuel fittings so I can do some more work, at least finish off intercooler piping.
-
Really hard to see the whole fuel line setup under car but use your imagination, green masking tape around lines just cos they anodised black ones and didn't want to scratch them yet.

Got few hours this week to work on it so bent up the hard fuel lines under car fri back to front and fitted the main fuel filter, made some small u shape brackets I cut from bit of 50x25 rhs and welded nut to it so I didn't cut or drill through floor. Also welded up alloy donut and cut and welded it to intercooler to get it all to fit nice, just need to finish off I engine bay.

Nah mate not yet, just buying stuff like some alloy tube and bends to make intercooler piping etc, I only get a few hours a week to work on it, is a long slow build this one. Thanks for the good comments.

Thanks frasian, I know it's not the greatest as I can only do the level of work with what tools I have but as long as my build gives others ideas and helps them with there's.

Been busy and away for awhile and built a bombed up original Honda z50j and been having too much fun cruising the streets with a mate with one. But couple of small things done. Vinyl wrapped dash Matt black which came up alright. Cut front radiator support out and redone it and mounted a eBay special intercooler. Made some custom engine mounts using some patrol bushes and machined sleeves, bit overkill but should never break.

thanks guys for the response, least i know someone is looking at it a little, just want to give and get ideas. haha i guess i could put some big shit wheels on it for them young kids liking that stretch tyre crap. i do have alot of teflon braid with nylon but going to use it only from firewall where hard line ends to engine then back to reg, only where the movement will be in engine. i did want to go braid but then had to clamp it down as i like the clean out of the way look. i thought i would be pushing it to make 600 engine hp but thats the plan, i have tomei 270 8.8 cams in it, i got no doubt the engine will make some decent power at 8000rpm and 20-25 pound

Bought some gear to make hard fuel lines, just cheap tools to do the job, 1st pick was first attemp but 2nd pick I redone the return line to surge tank as wasn't happy. Hard line looks neat but who ever says its easy to bend up a maze of hard line is kidding them selves. The big fuel system is all -8 it's abit over kill but will be plentiful for e85 and chasing the 500-600 engine hp figure so bit keen to finish it. I know it's nothing special compared to some builds and seem to get ʞ©$ɟ all replys but I just hope to help and give ideas to other home builders on here.

Bit of progress, had to chop into lower radiator support to fit radiator lower, dummy fit engine to see room for shit in the front. Seems to be all good.

Hey mate, yes building a sleeper as such because can't afford to do the rest, so plan is just to get the basics done and go from there once running.
-
Bit of free time today so made a rough dash to see what needs done then make a final good one but happy enough with this outcome, will wrap it in black vinyl and should look ok.
-
That's awesome, my old 120y work car had 260 and was fun as, good to see how e85 goes, we don't have good fuel where I'm from so thinking meth injection to get the safe power. Be good to see what gains you get. Keep up the good work

That 300hp on 98

Painted engine other day, going for the stealth look with all black fittings and hose too, must be the new in thing. Cpc plenum (Another Ariel masterpiece). My home made exh manifold. Can't wait to spool the t67.

Good job mate, this car looks like alot of fun, good to see others supporting the ca's, I'm always interested to see what combo there using with a ca and what power etc.
