  1. Ok I presume the two green connections are the reverse light but what about the white one my car does not have the connecting clip? Does it matter if I do not connect it?

Hey everyone I have just bought another 70 and the young whipper snapper I bought it off threw a 32/36 weber on it with extractors he told me he had it jetted to 140-160 air jets 135 and 150 mains but it still hates -3000rpm unless foot flat down. Now I know the weber is to big etc, I do have an aisan carb but this young fella has screwed around with most of the vacuum hoses so I wanted to leave that to a last resort. I have found these jet setting for a kp61 4k with a weber does anyone know if this sounds good? Just really wanted to try to get this clarified before I spend more money that won't get me anywhere Idle Jet: 55 Primary main jet: 125 Secondary main jet: 150 Primary air corrector: 180 Secondary air corrector: 150

  6. Yeah, I'm not 100% on the s13 front running gear, I'm guessing that the ca18 would be easier because of the x-member, right? I do like them but I I'm leaning towards the 20v, what's your opinion on the 4age b.l?

  8. Thought I would post an update, have stripped the second corolla except diff and engine ( have so many spare parts now), took the k50 out to replace the k40 inthe blue one so its not revving off tits :) am planning 4age 20v with a w55 box, s13 front end, hilux LSD diff (after all the bodywork)
  9. Nothing just another alternate diff centre it will fit if you change the pinion too

  11. When indicating left my brake light flashes in time with the indicator and everything in the left taillight flashes when in reverse while indicating anyone else had this? Have checked taillight wires for fraying etc

Hey guys, nothing bad has happened with the tyres yet but they are 185/55 86v xl on 15x8, have decided to run the tread out on them first and have been pulled over with nothing said :) Have had the car tuned and am putting a 5 sp in instead of the 4sp (hopefully straight swap). Also have bought another one to swap the overrated interior and have the engine for spares (until the conversion) and the shell for a track project, so I might have some nice original pieces to share around :) Then time for the body work to begin!   21. Thanks for the feedback mate. Yea it's the fabrication that we are gonna find hard, only because we don't have the equipment or tools :( but yea after we work that out bog prime base and clear it like 10 times, so she looks like glass with some mad depth. Also down the track looking at dropping in a 4age 16v big port quad throttle thing for drift.
  22. hey people, just thought I would post up my 3 month old ke70 that I bought from a dodgy apprentice mechanic. eg. Cut au falcon springs (that fell out when we lifted the car up), welded stock borgwarner diff, blown head gasket, straight pipe to split sh*t drift tip yeeeee, instrument cluster wasn't working/broken, no locknut key, interior ripped to sh*t/missing a lot, wrong tyres to go with rims?!?!, callipers rattling, steering rack/rack boots destroyed, wheel bearings all shot and to finish it all off lots of body work.........................lucky we like challenges right.
