Hi all, I cannot believe that I’m actually asking this but if I were to sell my 1974 ke25 rolla what would be a fair and reasonable price to ask for?? The reason for asking this question is that I have heard from a very reliable source at work that some senior management at work will be getting and redundant… With a wife and 3 kiddies I would have to make some serious sacrifices to keep the family afloat and that may mean selling the ke25 and my Stagea off. I have had the initial roadworthy check and the list is as follows: Wipers Washers Rust in roof gutter Battery not secure Driver seat not secure Brake pedal rubber Footwell carpet missing Windscreen needs repair – pit fill Idler arm bushes Right hand inner and outer tierod ends Pitman arm ball joint L+R b/joints – lower Castor bar bushes Shackle rubbers – swinging Small about of rust in wheel well Front sway bar D/bushes Front Brake hoses Rear brake hose Rear gearbox mounts Front inner guard plastics missing Strut tower rubber mounts I have already got most of the parts required – all new. The body is in great condition with only the rust mentioned above and a very small dint on the bonnet and driver side fender.. The car drives magnificently. I really hope I don’t have to sell but I need to keep my options open….. Family comes Let me know what you think…. Thanks Ian

Well got my car back from the R/W check and there is a bit of a list but don’t think it should be too hard. Hopefully I can get some peeps rounded up to give me a hand. well ladies and gentlemen i thought it was time to pull out the finger and do something with the rolla. it is currently in for its initial Road worthy check so fingers crossed. then i have a set of 15's i have a very close eye on which will probably be the first mod and then a set of r31 GTS2 skyline buckets will be installed. Tally i think i will leave it the poo colour for now as its growning on me..... be back with an update soon Ian

mazda red is nice.... I'm a bit over red though... especially as they still are proned to fade quicker than other colours... mazda have a teal colour also which is pretty sweet and their arctic white is awsome

Hi all I haven’t been on here for a while due to an overseas holiday… tooooo long.. I have narrowed down my choice of colours to gunmetal, orange, matt black or sky blue… not narrowed but better than the 30 colours I was trying to choose from. Now with the motor…. I have a few options. 5ke turbo or supercharged. 7ke turbo or supercharged. Warm 2tg with possibility of supercharging later on… 2/3tg extractors and tin carb obviously I know theres the 4ag options. I have had a look at an sr20de option too but these will be expensive…. Unless someone has a kit to sell .... I'm not after a dyno queen but would likesome torque….. Tell me your thoughts. And preferably experiences.

Hi People well got the rolla back to Berwick from Bendigo on saturday... Perfect drive. the only thing I'm not happy with is that the guy forgot to mention the fact that the passenger side door had a cut in the paint and its lifting... but hey other than that there is a bubble of rust in the gutter about the size of a 20cent coin and thats about it.... the interior is ok.. driver seat has stitching coming undone but its just vinyl and it can be fixed. will get some pics today and try to get it up on the net over the next couple of days... Needs a damm good wash thought hats for sure... cheers Ian

it seems that my trailer option has fallen through the day before I pick up my ke25 has anymone got a trailer they are willing to lend me for say half a day tomorrow 07/05/08?? I'm going to Eaglehawk/bendigo and back to Dandenong way. if you can helo out that would be awsome...want to avoid driving it down all that way seeing its been sitting for 10yrs cheers Ian

Well the time is drawing near for me to pick up my new toy Catching the train to Bendigo/Eaglehawk on Saturday :lmao: and driving her back to S.E suburbs... Hopefully it makes it otherwise will be a lonely boy in the middle of nowhere I was thinking water, oil, coolant, tow rope, jumper leads....Any tips on what i should bring incase of an emergency??? Hi guys the tow bar is definately coming off cos i aint towing anything with this gem.... thats what the r31 is for.... Tally: I'm sure it will grow on me and thanks for the offer with parts ill definately be asking if i need anything.. Hotmr2: ill get more detailed pics once i get the car. Apparently the wheel well has only a small bubble... the Guy is pedantic and very Meticulous so that s agood thing... i got a spare if it needs replacing anyway... apparently its been sitting in the Garage for over 10yrs. Not too fussed about the dash tip as ill sort it out with a new one i bought about 16mths ago :) the only think I'm not too fond of is the colour.... i guess ill grow to love it or full respray.. white/off white dunno dunno just want the thing first

Well after 3 years of searching i have found myself a 25. i should have it in my hot little hands by the end of next week and ill update the thread with better pics and more information. for now some photo's: Cheers Ian

thanks Leigh i owned a ke30 and ra28 and 22 previously have been having withdrawls since having gotten rid of them a few years back. will definately try to get to some cruises once i get her registered. cheers ian
