  1. The car is lowered a bit. Now that you mention it, I think she has had a bit of run in with the gutter before I got it, there was a noise coming from the left hand side of the diff but it's stopped now that I had the bearing replaced
  2. I was replacing bushes and springs today in my ke70 and when i went to put the panhard back on it wouldn't go so I tpulled it out and noticed it was bent. Should I be concerned? Its not bad, with help I got it back on the car and the old rubber bushings didn't look deformed of anything
  3. Thanks for all the quality info! I've decided to go with the DGV downdraught, they seem to be the go for a daily and webber themselves do a kit for the 4k! http://www.weberperf...products_id=735 Any tips with tuning?
  4. Cheers lads, I'll probably have a chat to Andrew and see what he can get for me. Thanks for the response
  5. Hello all. I have recently inherited a ke70 off my grandfather(with 66xxxkm on the clock!!!) and I am in the process of doing a couple of mods to it. I have just ordered some king springs for her and I'll be doing a carb soon. But wile under the car looking around I noticed all the rubber bushings seemed to be falling apart so I'd like to replace them while I have it up on stands. I have no idea what they're all called though, could someone point me in the direction of what I need and a store I could get them all from? Thanks!
  6. So you'd be recommending the 32/36 webber? The carb wikki recommends using 130 mains 170 air jets and a 50 for idle in the webber. is this a good place to be starting for a stock 4k? And is it wise to purchase online of webber them themselves or would someone local stock them? i'm in brisbane Thanks for the responses
  7. Yeah, I was thinking 40mm, i was wanting to go with the side draught because i heard that the down draughts were a bit boggy in the low range. Were you using a 40mm? And were you running stock jets?
  8. hey guys, I've got a stock 4k-c and I'm wanting to put a single side draught webber onto it. Just wanting some suggestions on what size to use with a possible cam/exhaust upgrade down the track, or will I need to do extractors with the webber? thanks
