Just another shot of the bay with some bits going back in. also started to pull the engine down for a freshen up while its out of the car.

yeah makes it look clean. pics just don't do it justice but this shows it abit better.

Been pretty busy over the weekend and spent some time on the engine bay or the corolla :) starting to take shape now.

Not really sure, depends on funds I guess lol. Would like to be racing Brisbane jamboree later in the year.

Ive gotten abit more done on it lately. fabbed up a new tunnel and firewall. also ordered the bends to make the intercooler piping then its time to lick some paint in the engine bay :)

Its a mx83 Cressida radiator. I had to modify the bottom radiator surrport to make it fit but yes it fits in quite nicely :)

Not too much going on atm. ive been playing with another toy that I have but should hopefully find some more time for this soon.

A little bit more progress with the wagon. steam pipe manifold, 4" dump pipe made. mounted my new external gate off the rear housing off the turbo and screamer pipe done. To make it fit better we modified the top and bottom water hoses to bring the turbo forward enough to fit a 4" dump pipe in.

I've been playing with another toy of late but found some time for the wagon :) been fitting up all the front end to see how it all looks and fits. next week it will be getting my new custom exhaust manifold made, gate mounted and 4" dump pipe. can't wait to have my first drive.

ill take some pics while I do it. I'm sending it away to get some welding done but once I get it back ill try swapping and see how it goes.

hey guys I bought my corolla a few months back and it came with a hopper stopper brake kit. how ever it doesn't bolt up to the factory struts. since then I have found they suit a celica strut so I'm wondering what is needed to bolt up a celica strut into my ke38?

small update, engine and box is all mounted. and started to fit intercooler. having trouble trying to find a radiator that will sit on top of crossmember but still clear the bonnet. trail fitted the alloy Cressida radiator I had here but not sure if its the best option yet.

Hey guys for them who don't know I'm building a 2jz ke38 and looking for a radiator that will sit on top of the radiator support crossmember but still clear the bonnet? What items fit well. Perfer alloy style but not worried if eBay style as they work well anyway.

got abit more done in the last week. bought and fitted a shortened 9'' diff and have made a start on the engine mounts :)

Yeah but probably easyer to just get the one I have shortened then find one. I think the shortest they make is 1380 and I want 1350 at the most.

It's the shorter hilux diff that you can get. Hard to find these days from what I hear. If I can't get it shortened local I'll just use a borgwarner diff and sell the hilux diff as is that's in my 30 coupe.

hey guys, anyone in Brisbane had a hilux diff cut down to suit ke38? if so who did it? ive got a hilux diff in a ke30 sedan atm that I'm going to use but its longer than I want (1410mm) so looking for someone to cut it down to the wagon diff size which looks to be 1350mm. any help would be great thanks.
