  7. well the cars got a blown head gasket, and the body is pretty rough, but everything else works on it, lots of useable parts on it would be looking for 300 for it as is, fully complete at this stage edit: I'm located in belco if anyone wants to look at parts etc.
  8. its got a BHG but you can have it for $50 if you wanna pull it out, $100 and i'll pull it out myself
  9. anyone need KE70 parts, got a complete one here willing to wreck or sell as a whole.
  10. hey guys ive got a ke70 with a 4k, 4 speed manual in it my problem is that it has been having for a couple of weeks is that on warm idle the oil light comes on, so when this happens i just pull the choke out a little bit, but the problem that ive been having today, is approaching lights, or to a stop, is that it stalls when i put the clutch in. seems to do it when the cars warm but possibly when its cold aswell, also its missing a tiny bit. cheers guys cchester
  11. the line wasnt blocked, but now i know what the inside of a ke70 fuel tank looks like, it doesnt have any filters or anything at the bottom of the pickup which was kind of suprising
  12. nah man theres plenty of fuel in the tank
  13. i know exactly how to do everything, and i know how easy it is, and i have done everything correctly but it isnt sucking fuel out of the fuel tank, so I'm assuming something is blocked in the fuel tank i did the air compressor test, and it is the correct line, i also blew paint out of my engine bay :) so its not me that has made a mistake, something else has gone wrong
  14. its the right pipe, i've even checked the manual and i don't really want to have to cut the other pipe if its wrong. the only thing that is different now then when i did it first was that i've cut that pipe
  15. oh wait, it was just running on the fuel in the fuel bowl :)
  16. ok just did that now, i didnt understand why u wanted me to do that before, mechanical fuel pump works, now to try that with the electric one
  17. or could it be something to do with air being in the lines?
  18. yeah, now its back to way it runs stock, but its not getting any fuel out of the tank
  19. ok reconnected up the mechanical fuel pump again, and still no luck :) was running fine before installed the electric pump and no its not pumping any fuel with either setup....
  20. ok this may sound stupid, but what if i make my own hole and just run a piece of fuel line into the tank?
  21. the fuel pump is fine, its pulling fuel out of a can exactly how its setup now, straight out of the boot, it just seems to be having trouble pulling the fuel out through the metal tube, what is the easiest way of taking the top of the fuel tank off?
  22. yeah its all hooked up the right way :) i made sure i checked that, it was all hooked up the way it was supposed to and still no luck :D I'm out of ideas
  23. its an external pump, the facet kind that most people use, the relay is all wired up, it just connected from tank to pump to a bottle at the moment so i can see if its pumping fuel or not its earthed in the boot etc. and the mechanical fuel pump has been blocked off, and its a ke70 with a 4k. it sucks fine out of a jerry can, but it wont suck out of the petrol tank.... wierd
  24. nope, its self priming, and i just tested it by picking up fuel out of a jerry can, must be something with the fuel tank line
  25. hey everyone I'm installing a facet electric fuel pump into the boot of my rolla, i've hooked up the fuel line to this line ( pic below) i've wired everything up, but it still isnt drawing any fuel through the pump, the pump is brand new so its not the pump that is f@$ked have i conected it up to the correct line on the tank? or is there any other reasons why it is not picking up fuel cheers all chester
