  1. Hi guys. I bought a R31 diff to put into my KE and have got it cut down re-splined etc. I have gone to put it back in today but the u-bolts now wont fit over the diff. Does anyone know what ones I need? I was just going to buy larger ones and redrill the holes on the bottom plate but I didn't know if this was the proper way and wanted to see if anyone has done it before. Thanks, Kyle
  2. Hi, I know there are a lot of these threads around but I couldn't find the info I needed. I already have the diff and have got it cut down and resplined. What I am after is what I do about the handbrake. Because the old ones were drums they were using a different cable so how do I get a cable to work with the new diff? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks Kyle

  5. Hi, I'm looking at getting my ke55 resprayed pretty soon and wanted to know your opinions on what's the best way to go about it? Do I get it down to bare metal through sandblasting or stripping the paint? I live in the Sutherland Shire and want some good places to get it painted too if possible, I am happy to drive to get it done well though. Thanks, Kyle

  8. Thanks for this. What would be the best way to get camber with stock springs or am I just going to have to bite the bullet and get coilovers? Also regarding rear camber how could I get that? Sorry about all the questions thanks for the help
  9. Hi everyone, After looking around for a while I have found some info on KE55 camber plates but not too much. I have been told S13 ones fit in with only a very little amount of work and also Cusco make them but they can be very hard to get in Australia. Do TE37 ones fit? If so what do you think of these: https://technotoytuning.com/toyota/te37/te37-corollalevin-camber-plates I also still have stock suspension so should this be changed before doing camber tops? I want to get Enkei Compe's though very soon Interior: stock Body: As far as i know original white, but will be resprayed in the whole process.   11. Awesome thanks heaps will keep all this in mind when i am doing the upgrade, might go for the R31 diff and get it shortened. I know drum brakes are fine for it but I want to be able to drive this car daily and if I get disks they'll let me. Thanks heap, Kyle
  12. Hey everyone, I haven't posted here before and am finally about to join the rollaclub! I am planing on buying a 1981 KE55 this week, its in pretty good shape for the price but I am planning to do a lot to it. Anyway, what would a good diff be for a 4AGE motor conversion as this is what I'm planing on changing to in the future. I'm asking this early because my parents are freaking out about safety and having some disk brakes would ease there minds a little bit, the current motor is still the stock 4k. I would also want to put a LSD in. thanks heaps, Kyle
