  1. I've just looked online and this is were I think I can find the best answers
  2. Title says it all. What boss kit will work with my 79 corolla? Sorry if I sound ignorant, it's because I am.
  3. I've looked for other options, but they all seem to be more expensive. My thought is to get a wrecked SC400 from a junkyard, so I can get the engine, ecu, wiring rear diff etc... If someone can find all those parts for cheaper then I'm all ears. I would prefer cheaper, even.
  4. Thank you ke70dave. Looking at all of that has helped my plan. This is not going to be a short build it is going to take a long time, but I am a somewhat patient man.
  5. I do have help. I have two connections, each with their own shop and two neighbors who are retired mechanics. I have the help I need and I am going to try my best. It's not something that I just thought of and don't have a plan for. I just wanted confirmation that the engine would fit. In no way am I going at this alone. I know this can be done on a budget, and that's how I am going to proceed.
  6. You know what I don't like most? People who tell other people they can't do something. You don't my situation. The only thing I want here is support, not discouragement. So if you don't mind...
  7. Nope. What would be easier? Cause there's no way the stock diff in my car would hold up to the torque.
  8. Do you think I would be able to use the rear diff from the sc400? I plan to get an sc400 from copart.com for cheap and get a w58 tranny. How much of a problem is the difference in wheelbase between the two cars?
  9. I want the most badass, ratty rat rod corolla wagon ever. Do you think I could fit a 1uz in my 1979 Corolla wagon? I know a jz wouldn't fit, it's too long, but a 1uz is shorter right? I may be crazy but...yeah no I'm crazy.. Help me complete my dreams. Haters will be ignored.
