  1. i have a ke70 pedal box sitting in my garage if you are interested
  2. hi, i think i know the answer to this but i will check anyway... is there any strut brace that came standard on any car that would fit a KE70. if not would i just get one that fits a sprinter and it will fit mine??
  3. Yeah thats what we figured when we put it all in. i have a temp sensor in the engine at the moment. i am going to get a fan in the next week or so.
  4. yeah i am planning on it. it was interesting that the race car didnt use one either.
  5. the front has corona struts in it with bigger rims to fit the brakes in and i havent touched the suspension yet in as I'm still trying to get a cheap set of rims for the whole car then i will "adjust" the height a little. all the springs are bolted to the strut seats which i found interesting. must have something to do with the fact it was a track car I'm guessing
  6. Hey guys thought i would do a thread on my current project, it has changed a little over the past couple of months due to serveral reasons. Originally the plan was simple 4age, stick 2 1g turbos on it and have some fun till i blew stuff up then start again. Well after looking for about 3 month trying to find a "decent price"(keeping in mind that i bought the car for $300) for a gearbox i came across something a little strange. A friend of mine called me and told me that he knew a guy selling an ex race car which was a KE70, thats when it became interesing. the car was a red AE71 fitted with a 3SGE running LPG, also had a locker with 4.11 diff ratio, rear disc conversion, corona front suspension and 4 semi slicks on mx73 cressy rims. The only problem with the car was that it has been "drifted" into a pajero and pretty much the whole boot of the car was missing. So i purchased the beast and shoved it all into my ke70.   7. i have some sort of volvo one?? no thermos, never goes over 90degrees (not so far anyway). i am running LPG though with 3SGE if that makes a difference. the rad is freaken huge though. I'm happy with the cooling considering no sort of fans at all :wink:
  8. ok sorry if this is a silly question, i saw 2 different tercels in my local wreckers the other day, not sure what the models where but on of them had the front sway bar running towards the rear of the engine and the other went around the front of the engine(like a ke70) so am i do assume that the 2nd one is the one i need? if so it didnt look any thicker really than the standard one?? or will the first one fit on the front of the ke70 or am a completely confused?? Thanks
  9. i am putting a 4agte into my KE70 so i will need something a little stronger than the diff i have at the moment, at this stage i will be using a t50 from a ae86/ae71 depending on which i can get my hands on first, then maybe moving onto a W series gbox depending on how long the t50 lasts and how much i can get the bellhousing for. the t18 diff i am looking at has drum brakes on the rear. so should i look for something else or is this what i should get? thanks
  10. well its still in the car so it has everything i guess, there is no gearbox in the car but didnt notice if the tailshaft was there. How much should i expect to pay for one of these?
  11. Will a T-18 diff and axles fit straight into a KE70? i have a chance to purchase one at a resonable price is it worth it? Thanks Glenn
