  1. forgot to put the price down I'm asking $3000 but i am negotiable!
  2. I have decided to sell my civic as i don't get to drive it as much as i thought i would. it has had the rust cut out of it and a partial respray where needed. . the rego runs out in may 2015 and being 30 something years old you can get classic car insurance through nrma for very cheap i paid $63 for the whole year. It is a 2 speed clutch less manual, so you start off in 1st gear then push the lever into 2nd or "top" gear and then when slowing down just push it back to first. so much fun to drive will put a smile on your face every time. There is a small electrical fault in that it keeps blowing the fuse for the cigarette lighter as soon as you put a new one, i think its something to do with the radio set up, if i get a chance ill try and work it out. the car is in great original condition apart from the kenwood radio and speakers in the back, and new carpet. there is a small crack in the top of the dashboard but hardly noticeable. there is no spare wheel or tools i bought the car off ebay about 3 years ago and have never been able to find any wheels for this model. would be great for a car collector or enthusiast. the engine runs great. the transmission might need a service or at least an oil change as it cluncks loudly into reverse. new battery i put new carpets and underlay from Knox auto carpet. recently changed the engine oil and spark plugs one new engine mount. call nathan 0410604117 car is located in Wattle Grove (near Liverpool)
  3. the car was found completely undamaged about 3 suburbs away last night only the valuable stuff in the car was taken.
  4. please help our 1990 corolla wagon AE95 has been stolen from the drive way last night in the beverly hills nsw area some time between last night 16th oct and this morning 17th. the rego is AOG-53A its very stock and has chrome hub caps it really sucks its not even insured for theft. if any one sees it please either call the cops and report it as it has been reported stolen or email me through here cheers, Nathan
  5. I remember an insurance ad from a few years back where there was a ke55/30 up on a concrete barrier with the wheels spinning in the air. also on that 70's show red had the vista cruiser then gave it to eric and he and kitty had the orange ke30 to cut costs on fuel etc.
  6. and if the hoses are buldging and expanding then you need new hoses because they have gone soft and could split or burst very soon
  7. cheers for that ill have read up on it. a mate sugested that there might be something wrong with my booster so ill check it out as well
  8. Hi guys my wagon has a 4AGE motor in it and i drove it for the first time in a few months on monday and remembered how bad the brakes are. so my question is how hard is it to fit bigger/ better brakes to it. to be honest i havent had a look at what is on it now i assume it is standard ke38 issue. i was thinking ae86 sprinter and maybe converting the rear drums to discs depending on how hard it is to do of course. has anyone done any similar modifications that could lend some ideas please
  9. still nothing but i havent really had time to check it all out from your ideas but i know the timing belt is ok. i got a phone number for a guy that does wiring for conversions so imgoing to give him a call and see if he can have a look for me.
  10. it cranks over with no life, i will check the injectors. thanks for your help guys
  11. a friend has checked spark, the last thing i did was on sunday and i put new fuel in as it had been in ther for a few months and there wassnt much in it anyway so now it has fuel, its very od because it was running perfect one day and then the next day it wouldnt run at all with out doing anything to it besides leaving the battery connected but tis a long story
  12. Hi guys i was wondering if there is anyone out there that has there head switched on and in the south sydney area to have a look at my rolla wagon with 4age motor in it. its not starting and i don't know what I'm doing nor where to start checking. it has fuel and the battery works but it just cranks over and over again. its hard to explain on here so ill give out my mobile 0410604117 and i can explain better in person.
  13. thanks for the info, its not actualy flattening the battery each time its just once the battery is left on over about two days it wont start again and last time i had to leave it for three weeks for it to go again, there is no accessorys in the car at all except for the stock clock in the dash, but i will check for the drain anyway incase it is a relay or something like that. it has a dodgy fuel pump set up which i think may have something to do with it as well i think ill just take it to a mechanic and leave it there for them to play with i have spoken to a friend and they are willing to look at it for me.
  14. Hi, i have a 1981 ke38 (ke55 wagon) which i bought a few months back that has a 4age motor in it, now when i got the car it started and ran, i had to get a battery for it as it had none once i did that the car just would not start up and just kept on cranking over and flatten the battery fairly quickly. With the car came a spare ecu that has some sort of fault in it aparently so i thought with nothing to lose ill try this ecu and the car started up and ran with no problem i tried it a few times and it kept on working. with out thinking much of it i left it over night and tried to start the car the next day and was confronted with the same problem of not starting and just cranking over. so i left it alone and kept on tring on a semi regualr basis. i went on a two week holiday with the battery disconected and on the third week after i got home i tried it and the car started up and ran . so not wanting to leave the battery conected i kept on taking the terminal off so i wouldnt have the same thing again but of course i did leave it on over a few days and now it wont start. ive had a few mechanic friends look over it and even a sparky and they can't work out what is shorting some where with the battery conected that causes it to not start. when it was running it ran really well and even drove really nice so I'm asking if anyone has had a similar problem with a 4age and was an easy fix or can shed some light on my problem. The car is not registered and no where near it becasue i discovered the massive rust holes in it but i would love to get this car on the road but at the moment it is taking up valuable garage space. Also does anyone know if i need to get an enginering certificate for this conversion as i bought it already done. cheers guys i look forward to any useful info or input anyone has
  15. thanks i havent gotten as far as taken out the window yet i am going to do that in the next few days or so. then ill check it out more.
