  1. Thank you. The manual rack itself was from a 1981 Starlet, the knuckles are from an AE86, as well as the tie rods. The steering shaft is from a 1st gen Tercel and the steering column is from a 1982 Celica. Clamp collars were welded on to angle iron to make the bracket which was welded to the crossmember. I wish I could do a complete write up about it, unfortunately I've moved so many times and lost all my notes. HTH. Ryan
  2. Thank you Rob. These cars are quite rare nowadays. The fact that here in the US, the TE37 was only offered for 2 years, 1975 and 1976. Plus it was an econobox, no performance parts for it, no G motors at all. Much easier to get a muscle car, much easier to buy parts for them to because you can do it through a catalog. It's still reasonable if you find it. Ryan
  3. Actually years and it was well worth it. Ryan

  5. Tidied up the engine bay, rebuilt my smoking turbo and finally found a plug in 3 core radiator. Will be roadworthy and registered next week. Ryan
  6. Finally got this going.... finishing up some the small details to get it registered... Ended up ditching the Mega-squirt for an SDS-EFI..... Will get it on the Dyno soon.... Ryan
  7. Thanks all. Cars here doesn't need an engineering inspection. Most states are concerned more on smog enforcement than anything else. The 1975 and older law is only on the smog side and I believe only in the state of California, pre-1969 in Nevada. One law states, in Nevada anyway, that your engine has to be as old or newer than the chassis if you are doing an engine swap. The car will be dyn-tuned as soon as we get it running. Mega-squirt is arriving in a few days. Ryan
