  1. Hello banjo! i think i might have the jap diff currently in the ke30 as ive read that jap diffs are those without the removable rear casing/housing. So the main question here is, is it still possible to swap the ke70 5speed using the original ke30 4speed shaft? Haha I'm quite confused 🤯
  2. Good to be back here everyone! Currently restoring the KE30 and while everything is apart, was wondering if i can fit a KE70 5 speed gbox into my KE30 using the original KE30 4Speed Longshaft. previously ive been using a K40 from a KE70 with the original 4speed ke30 shaft and everything works fine, shifts nice, no leaks or whatsoever about few days ago, saw a post on FB saying that swapping in a K50 from a KE70 to a KE30 isnt possible as it will cause the longshaft to poke deeper inside the gearbox as the original KE30 4speed shaft is longer? Is it true? Or can i just use the K50 paired with the 4speed ke30 shaft? cheers everyone!
  3. Hello everyone! Cheers! So last time I decided to put on a 2inch lowering block on my ke30. But after a few long drives, realized that it was too soft to the point there's no way for me to stop rubbing my tires. Got brand new shocks as well but still no changes. Any other opinion and suggestions how I can make the rear more stiffer?
  4. Hello everyone! Cheers! I have a KE30 sedan with a 4K swapped engine + KE70 gearbox. I'm currently using the stock KE30 LongShaft and Axle, is there any difference if I were to put ke70 longshaft and axle into my ke30? And can I reuse the original brake lines from my ke30 body to the ke70 axle if I were to fit it in?
  5. Hey man! Its been quite some time and its nice to hear from you again! Funny story about that problem i had before, my carburetor solenoid had no ground attached to it which made it not functioning properly hahahaha! Other than that, the engine runs perfectly! Got major changes on it, new aircon system, electric dizzy, 7K carbs and so much more! I'm left with the cosmetics and boom! I'm done hahahah. Anyways, do you have any social media i can contact you on? Instagram or facebook?
  6. Hello everyone! I have a KE30 sedan (RHD), did a KE70 front knuckle + braking system swap on it. Everything went smooth, replaced the tie rod inner and outer, pitman arm, lower arm, stabilizer link, absorber and so on but here comes the problem, my camber suddenly becomes negative, might be just a slight change but I'm here trying my best to make it right. Any suggestions on how i can fix it without bending (pressing) any things?
  7. Thanks for the reply Banjo! the fuel pump I'm currently using is the one originally from the 4K-C engine. I’m not quite sure if it has no faulty or whatsoever. I might try swap it with a different fuel pump. Maybe from my 3K engine since i am pretty sure that the previous one works well. Once again thanks for the suggestion. Will reply to you once i have the results šŸ¤šŸ»
  8. Thanks for the reply, guess i should’ve stayed with the original distributors 😭. i recently payed someone to inspect the car and one of them said that he’s 100% sure that it’s a valve problem. I don’t really know how and why since i just started to get into cars after the KE30 was handed down to me by my grandpa haha
  9. Old dizzy’s pin wiggles already. Fuel pump is all good, good fuel flow from the carby as well and ive tried using the old carby, still the same problem. It jerks whenever i pickup some speed and yes it idles smoothly
  10. Thanks for the reply Banjo! I don't really know how to upload the video here, by any chance is there any other way for me to contact you? My instagram’s @/juoone btw! The engine have 1 off 5K carby. Original distributor ( non electrical, but i just ordered the electrical distributor last night hehe ). Idle is fantastic, sounds good for me. The problem occur whenever i start to pick up some speed. It jerks all the time. The plug’s insulator color is yellowish burnt. I’m planning on getting someone to come and check it for me tho! Still don’t have the time since I'm quite busy with school still hahaha! I’m from Brunei Darussalam btw, a tiny country based in south east asia šŸ‡§šŸ‡³ ps: don't mind the messy engine bay haha
  11. Hello everyone, I'm new here. Recently i just swapped my 3K-H to a 4K-C engine with oversized piston, 5K carbs, 5K starters, 5K distributors. Engine was fully rebuilt by a mechanic whom i paid to do those job. It has been a month ever since i swapped the engine but i still can't drive the car due to the constant jerking when moving. Sometimes the engine died whenever i change gears. Really in need of help since ive been putting so much time and money to get this car fixed!
