  1. Cheers for the replies people!! :D Looking at the pic, using a 195/50 on a 7j rim looks ok but surely i could go for a 195/45 on an 8j rim with a good stretch and roll the inner arch lip a bit?? Just a thought!! :P OH and nice looking car BTW :)
  2. LOL i just lke the stretch tyres and deep dish look to be a bit showy LOL :)
  3. Do you have a pic of the wheels on your car?? Cheers
  4. Hi all!! :y: I may have found some wheels that will fit under the standard arches of my KE70 corolla, I just need some more advice from people in the know and also some advice from the "stretch meisters"!! :) Ive found 2 wheel possabilitys: 15x8 +0 offset with correct PCD of 4x114.3 and 15x8 +15 offset with correct PCD of 4x114.3 NO SPACERS REQUIRED lol!!!! Also what would be the ideal tyre size to put on with a nice stretch?? 195 as above?? Does anyone have any pics of a KE with this size/fitment wheels on with standard arches?? Cheers, Scott B)

  7. My car is a full UK spec car and has been in my local area from new (1981) with one owner!! Ive polished up the chrome bumpers now and they look like a mirror :y: :P Just finishing polishing up the rest of the car today! I will post up some "shiny" pics when we have a nice sunny day LOL!! ;)
  8. Cheers for your comments ;) The rust will be going and it will be all shiny soon!! Just had our first few days of usuable dry weather so ive started to polish her up :P
  9. Hi all  Yes I know ive posted this in the rides section but I thought Ide put it here too to fly the GB flag LOL :sigh: I'm Scott and live in the UK. My other car is a full drift spec Nissan Silvia (see pics!), but its a bit harsh on fuel to use every day for work, so I went looking for something cheaper to run, interesting and must be jap to use as a daily driver!! I never expected this :P ............ Here is my 1981 Toyota Corolla KE70 1300 that I picked up last week!! This car is so clean and origional, I couldnt believe it when my friend brought it around! It was owned by an old gentleman that passed away and his family just took his car to the local scrap yard! The guys at the scrapyard thought it was too good to scrap so sold it as a whole! A friend of mine knew i was after something "old skool jap" and when he saw it in the yard he told me about it! To cut a long story short............ Its now mine  . This car has all the O/E parts and lots of bits like Toyota floor mats, tool kit, Books etc and even has some maps from 1981 lol!! Its in really good condition to and only has some rust on the bottom of the drivers door!! The car looks like nothing has ever been inside it and nothing is used, broken or worn!! These cars are getting silly rare in the Uk now and are very hard to come across!! Because of this there arnt many resourses over here for these cars, so this web site looks amazing for a lot of info!!! ;) Anyway, heres some pics  My Future plans.......... :y:
  10. UPDATED SEPT 2007 Name: Scott Andrews Location: Plymouth, UK Car: 1981 KE70 Corolla DX Motor & Driveline: Stock 1300 4K (With K&N filter) Suspension & Brakes: Stock Wheels & Tyres: Stock steels with chrome trims (15"x6" gunmetal minilights with polished lip - Yokohama tyres) Interior: Stock and very very overrated brown/tan (White Nardi steering wheel - New speakers and stereo) Body: Stock square headlights, overrated with only small bit of rust on drivers door (Doors repaired and colour coded - Rubber strip removed) Other: Was saved from a scrapyard and is pretty much show condition!!! Its only done 54000 miles from new with one owner ;) Future Mods: This is my daily driver as I have a drift spec s14 silvia thats a bit thursty for running to work, so engine mods will be kept to a filter and exhaust for now but may put twin 40s on it at some point! It is gonna look the part though with polished dished wheels (minilights will do for now), lowered AE86 suspension, twin headlights and a few other retro parts! These cars are very rare in the UK so it will definately be something different :P Link: Click Here UPDATED PHOTOS And this is what I want it to look like when its done.............
