including day registrations?? lol.. that sucks for all those project cars out there that people just want to have fun with on the track etc... no way i can afford to register a 3rd vehicle... they havent been that strict on it... everytime i went my rego sticker was waaay out of date.. they didnt say nuffin.. xcept "fasten that battery son". :)

if i was to sell the silvia, id get a piss-ant 8 grand for it... so far it owes me around 22.. not including the new cooler thats only weeks away.. (good for another 15kw.. lol). i know a car depreciates in value, but its gotten beyond a joke.. i couldnt justify selling it...

i have determined my plan of attack: SR20det into Silvia. ca18det out of silvia, into toyota. toyota = fun. silvia = drag.

if i was to rock up with a safety certificate, would that suffice?

Grimwolge: why does the Skidpan require a registered car? is this due to insurance? reason i ask is because car Registration is only around to Permit your vehicle to travel on State Roads (by state i mean government owned). the skidpan is infact on private property and it should not be a legal requirement.... kinda sucks for all those people who would like to build a drag/track/drift car, but don't want it registered.. :)

i doubt youd get anything but a shitter for $800... :P 6 months rego: $300, Dodgy Safety Certificate $60ish, means the rest of the car is worth all of $400...
