1.Go to the 'NSW/Sydney' forum on rollaclub
2.Go to pinned topic 'Nsw Roadworthy Requirements'
3.Click on the first link
4.Click 'VSI 06 - Guidelines for light vehicle modifications'
5.Read the part about 'Do I need an engineering signatory for minor modifications?'
6.After calculating, read the part about 'Replacement engine'
After that you'll have your answer!

The KE10 is an orphan in terms of parts being interchangable.
There are basic brake upgrades found in the Knowledge Base/FAQ link at the top of the page.
In terms of front struts, if you look at the base of the strut you'll notice it is a 3 bolt arrangement, nearly all later model cars have a 2 bolt setup.
Therefore straight swaps is not possible.
Swapping out the steering arms wont help much unless you like massive negative camber.
Swapping the lower control arm wont help either as this is a wishbone setup.
Therefore as mentioned, you may want to start from scratch for the front end.
As for the diff, again you'll find some info in the Knowldge Base/FAQ link.
No such 'locker diff' or LSD is known to exist for the standard KE10 diff, an upgrade would be advisable if looking to run a V6.
Some research will reveal suitable diffs, most of which will require shortening mods.
I tend to find this link very helpful.

I also had trouble sourcing KE10 tie rods, idler and pitman arms.
I've managed to source old stock for the tie rods and pitman but not the idler yet.
The store i sourced my tie rods still had a pair of course thread tie rods (early KE10) left.
I took the last set of fine thread (late KE10).
This was at Mekong Spares, Canley Vale NSW about 3 months ago.
Failing all this, some proper suspension shops can rekit your old joints, not sure on prices.

Related post on the Whiteline swaybar
As mentioned in the previous link, the problem is with the later model calipers hitting the swaybar.
Obviously the swaybar wasn't designed with this modification in mind.

It is a cheaper design as less other suspension/handling components are needed, but it does affect performance handling.
Basically when one side moves (bumps), the other is affected in someway. The thin coil springs hold no weight at all so they wont help.
Corvette have used this setup for years but have refined it very well.
Although alot of circuit racing vettes end up going with coilovers.

As much as we love rollas, a SOHC ae82 is hardly worthy of an f20c.
I reckon most people will think it will be a waste of a highly prized engine.
Edit: If time and money were really no option, convert it to rwd, now that would be different.

how does Hino Contessa sound
An Australian motoring
journalist, when asked to name the 10 worst cars of all time, included the Hino
Contessa 1300 in his list. His only comment was "The bastard thing tried to kill
me,twice!". Despite it's faults it's still a pretty cool car. " :)
They can blame Renault for that...

Rt40 '67 Corona Exchangables
in General Mechanical
Posted
The RT40's have front drums which suck.
The only bolt on brake upgrade available is the front disc option from an RT81 corona which itself is hard to find. They mainly had front drums available.
TA22 front calipers and discs are the same as RT81 but the caliper bracket is different.
Rear drums, it is believed the the jap spec diffs are an S series. The aussies diffs are borg warner.
Don't know if anything is interchangeable.
Also it would be a good idea to go with a modern twin circuit brake master cylinder instead of the original single master.
Check out http://www.toyotacorona.com/ for more info.
